No party Bash for Madhuri Dixit!

New year party's are the place to be, especially when they are star studded. It is the time when heroines are paid lakhs of rupees for each minute they spent on stage. The events are usually hosted in five stars and they always come with a huge and rich base. It seems that Madhuri Dixit was keen to grab up one such offer but the reports are that nothing is working out good for the actress.

Madhuri who had shifted her base recently to Mumbai, was keen on catching up the grip with bollywood, and the new year parties were a good exposure for her. It is reported that her manager had sent out feelers to the event management houses and organizers, but it seems that 'sex appeal' rules the parties more than dancing talents which was made famous by Madhuri herself.

An insider quotes ""It was an awkward situation for the organisers. They didn't want to upset her so they simply said that the money wasn't working out."

The source also admits, "Madhuri is keen to perform at an exclusive event for New Year's eve. She had the whole performance planned out and was willing to negotiate on the moolah, but the response she received wasn't enthusiastic. The offers she did get though weren't exciting enough, so she rejected them."

The only big name that is being mentioned for parties at the moment is Mallika Sherawat who has been offered Rs. 4lakh per minute for a 30 minute show(1 crore). The other offers for the actresses Kareena, Bipasha and Katrina are still unknown. But this is the scenario. 

When contacted, Madhuri's manager Rikku Rakesh Nath denies her interest in such a show. He says, "It's not true. She is going on vacation with her family. She did get some offers to perform for Rs 2.5-3 crore, but she turned them down."
