Maggi with Big B

Buzz is that Amitabh Bachchan has recently shot a one-minute advertisement for Maggi instant noodles.

He recently tweeted about the shoot on the social networking site and also tweeted some pictures that were captured during the shoot. Big B tweeted on Twitter that, "Did a shoot for ad campaign.. Maggie Noodles. Fun."

He wrote on his blog that, "One would imagine for a 1 minute film it would be a cake walk for those that make films that last 3 hours. No .. baby! Its a tougher job! In one minute one has to convey and convince the viewer what most of us need 3 hours to do!."

He added, "There is meticulous work and drawing boards done after great deliberation and approval from the clients, management of the production crew, technical departments in place, shot divisions done in advance and then the artist briefing and the takes begin."

"Campaigns for products are a specialized venture. Huge number of professionals get behind research and development, design and execution, writing the catch lines that would attract and eventually finding the appropriate talent to deliver the goods."

69 year old Amitabh Bachchan has endorsed brands like Parker Pens, Pepsi, Dabur, BPL, ICICI, Maruti Versa, Reid & Taylor and Nerolac Paints.

PETA holds by Sunny

Suddenly it is Sunny Leone that rules the Page 3, be it her acts, or her new adult movie or her website. She seems to be doing or unknowingly be the headline everywhere. The recent news came out from the supporters of PETA, the recent campaign from the actress is being questioned by the followers and they say that PETA could have hired someone who is more 'inspiring' than Sunny for the campaint (sigh! Seriously? ).

PETA is usually known for starting up campaigns with most of the actresses and they have even gone further with B-grade actresses who are ready to do the voluptuous poses for endangered species. Rakhi Sawant, Sherlyn Chopra, Veena Malik and Pooja Misra have been in this league and supported the cause. There were allegations that these celebs were more fame-hungry than others who did it for the cause. But PETA has always stood by their decision to use these models for their campaigns and strongly believes ‘anyone who spends their time helping animals deserves to be commended’

The same attitude goes in for Sunny Leone, she has not been withdrawn from campaign and she is said to continue her act for the cause. The news is that she has been doing some provocative shoots for the cause and the campaign is already using this. This has caused the PETA supporters to hate it, they say that the current campaign exposes too much.

Speaking for PETA, Poorvi Joshipura, chief functionary mentioned that all their celebrity supporters volunteer for the cause and often take time out of their busy schedules to promote the cause. In case of Sunny Leone, she mentioned that Sunny and husband Daniel Weber are owners of two rescued dogs and Pooja Misra supported PETA by endorsing their T-shirt during her time on Bigg Boss.

We cannot blame PETA who does this to be in the news and to hold the cause. They wouldn't have got a better ambassador for the campaign that Sunny who is much in demand over the internet and around! We wont be surprised if more ad campaigns are launched under her name!

Rajanikanth - Very much in Demand!

Ever since his movie Robot, Rajanikanth has been widely accepted in Bollywood as much as he is worshiped in Southern part of India. The influence of this superstar is so hot that Shahrukh Khan had invited him to do a cameo when SRK himself equipped the role of Superhero, G-One.

The advises given by Rajanikanth was so influential that after the shoot of cameo, SRK went down to Chennai to meet the superstar in person. After SRK, it seems that Mr. Perfectionist is attempting to get a piece of the star.

A recent news is that Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan would feature in a government campaign on TV to educate people about malnutrition. Rajini's official spokesperson V M Sudhakar clarified that the actor had not agreed to any such ad campaign yet.

So it seems that the publicity of just his name in the campaigns draws attention of masses, so may be this is another trick! You never know!

Be Salman's BodyGuard!

Mumbai: No this is not Indiaviolet's offer! This is the offer that the team of Bodyguard is giving to all fans. The offer is valid for all those fans where the team of bodyguard visits. Now the wonder part about this offer is that the lucky fan gets to be the bodyguard of Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor for the day. The team of 'Bodyguard' is visiting Indore tomorrow and the lucky fan who did get the chance to be the bodyguard of Salman and Bebo is Varun Khanna. Varun had sent text messages along with his application to be the bodyguard to Sallu.

Sources mention that this has been most effective in the city of Indore, speaking to Indiaviolet they mentioned "We had received most participants from Indore and we expect the film to gain a large count of publicity through this campaign."

Director Siddique who has done magic in South Film Industry was also thrilled with the idea and mentioned that "This idea has worked wonders for the film. Its great to see such overwhelming response from the fans and it seems that everyone in the country wants to be the bodyguard of Salman and Kareena"

So the bodyguard campaign kicks in high!
