11 crores for Imran Khan

Buzz is that actor Imran Khan nephew of Mr. Perfectionist is being paid in double digits for his role in the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.

A source said that, "This time, Imran will get the girl (Sonakshi Sinha is paired with him and not Akshay Kumar) and also a double digit salary. The rumoured figure is 11 crore!"

In the sequel he will be seen playing the role of a young mafia don. Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai which was released in 2010 had Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi together on screen. Their mentor-turned-rival chemistry as Sultan Mirza and Shoaib was appreciated. Producers are hoping hat the Akshay-Imran pairing works wonders for the sequel too.

So now after Rabir Kapoor among the young actors its Imran Khan who is asking for a double digit salary. It is said that Ranbir Kapoor has started asking for 23 crores and the price hike was after the movie Rockstar for which he was even recently awarded the best actor at the 13th IIFA awards which was held at Singapore.

Others actors who are getting paid double digit salaries include Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan. A source said that, "There aren't exact figures available on what the Khans, Akki and Ajay are charging, because all of them have a salary-plus-profit sharing arrangement with filmmakers and corporations."

It is said that the three big Khans and Akshay Kumar earn more than 25 crores with either a 33 per cent or 50 per cent profit sharing depending on individual contracts for each project.

Vivek Oberoi - The New Dawood

Vivek Oberoi has been signed up to play the role of Dawood Ibrahim in the upcoming movie Shootout at Wadala, with this signing in, Vivek joins the crew of John Abraham and Anil Kapoor in the movie. 

Apparently he is playing the character of Dawood Ibrahim, and for the first time the character will be called by the same name. Director Sanjay Gupta has examined the legal consequences of using the name Dawood in the film and is going ahead with it. SAW is a real life portrayal of the first registered encounter by Mumbai police where gangster Manya Surve was shot dead by the Mumbai police. 

Sanjay Gupta has confirmed that he has signed up Vivek for the role. But it will be more interesting to see what the film comes out with, as we have Akshay Kumar playing alleged role of Dawood Ibrahim in the sequel to Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2.

Kareena Speaks on Marriage!

When the rumor gets strong, even the toughest gets talking. This has been not different to Kareena Kapoor, who has evaded most of the queries about her relationships or the news on marriage has finally decided to speak up. She has mentioned that the marriage is surely in the list but the date is not yet confirmed. Both she and Saif are busy with the works so far and cannot decide on a date at the moment. 

Kareena is having a busy schedule and there should be more to come with the much talked about 'Heroine' movie which is a dream project for Madhur Bhandarkar and the other movie around is Ekta Kapoor's 'Once Upon a time in Mumbai 2' which is currently progressing in discussions. Both these movies might keep Bebo busy until mid of next year, and this was in recent past that the rumor of marriage got spread(more).

When asked about the movie Heroine, Kareena Kapoor confirmed that there had been serious discussions but nothing has been finalized or signed for, and she did mention that she is discussing her role in Once upon a mumbai 2 role with Milan Lutharia. She also added that Once upon a time in Mumbai is the favorite of her sister, Karisma Kapoor and Karisma is so moved with the movie that she had watched it thrice!

Kareena - Akshay to do OUATIMA 2

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai - 2 

Emraan Harshmi starrer Once Upon A Time In Mumbai was as super hit for the Balaji banner, they were so thrilled with its outright success that they had decided to make a sequel at the earliest. Sources confirm that the attempts were already active in the production house. They decided to scale up the stakes by getting Akshay Kumar to do the role of Mumbai Don!

The sources mention that the production house of Balaji had already fixed Akshay as the hero for the movie but the heroine was still kept a secret but the latest updates mention that the heroine will be Kareena Kapoor. Kapoor Damsel will be playing the anti-hero role in the movie.

The news confirms that Kareena has agreed for the role and has scheduled dates for January of next year and this may extend to february or March too.

We hope the sequel is much larger than the original movie!
