Bollywood : Chennai Express - Deepika and SRK costumes to be Auctioned

The outfits donned by Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in forthcoming film 'Chennai Express' will be auctioned, and proceedings from the sale will go for a charity.

The auction will take place around the movie's release August 9. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty, and it is said to be an action romantic comedy.

A source close to the team said, "People are really appreciating the different look that is donned by the actors in the film. With so much appreciation, the makers are planning to auction some of the costumes from the film and extend the proceedings for charity."

Chennai Express Game Launched

Bollywood superstar and gizmo enthusiast Shah Rukh Khan has launched an official game ahead of the release of his forthcoming movie "Chennai Express". He made the event exciting by challenging director Rohit Shetty for a match.

Shah Rukh showed off his gaming skills as he challenged Shetty to compete with him in the game - "Chennai Express: Escape from Rameshwaram". He says "to capture a movie in a game format is one of the most difficult and creatively challenging things to do".

"The movie has a vision and a theme, which a game needs to carry forward and keep the gamer engrossed in. The 'Chennai Express' game captures the theme, the graphics and the mood of the movie brilliantly," Shah Rukh said in a statement.

"I had a lot of fun being a part of the process of making this game. Hopefully the avid gamers will find this one as much fun as I do," he added.

Developed by Disney UTV's Digital arm, the game has so far been launched on feature phones and Android phones, while its iOS version will hit the markets closer to the movie's release Aug 9...( Read More)

not personally selling any worn clothes from Jism 2 - Sunny

Sunny Leone seems to be unaware about what is happening with the Jism 2, when the auctions and charity is in full swing, but the heroine seems to find it bit bad to digest that her clothes and lingerie is on sale. When she learned about the fact she was miffed with the producers for not letting her know about what is happening with the promotions.

Talking to a daily, a source said, “She was a bit upset because it wasn’t discussed with her. She doesn’t have any issues with the auction, but if she had been informed, she would have been better prepared for all the queries.”

Earlier Pooja Bhatt had announced that she will be auctioning the dresses by the actors in the movie and will include the lingerie that was already used by the actors and gather the money thus collected to a charity institution. And this seems to be without the knowledge of Sunny.

Sunny took to Twitter to clarify, “I don`t own the wardrobe. It sucks I didn`t know. Im not personally selling any worn clothes from Jism 2.”

“If the Company from Jism 2 is selling them for charity then that is an amazing thing. Hopefully all the money is going to a good charity(sic),” Sunny tweeted.

Whether it is bad or good, one this is sure, that the lingerie worn by Sunny would be selling out like hot cakes. So Sunny, just ignore this... it is always good that charity gets a good amount and it will be a plus that your movie will get a good boost

Jism 2 Auctions Continue - Money for PETA

The adult sizzler 'Jism 2' is still making news as it is currently auctioning the dresses and lingerie of Adult superstar - turned actress Sunny Leone. The auctions were on from two days earlier and it continues, the team has also clarified that they are doing this for charity and the fund so raised will be given to People For Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA). It is also said that with the increasing popularity of the bids, the crew is also planning to put in costumes used by other actors too.

The Jism-2 team has recently tweeted: "Part Proceeds from the auction of the # Jism2 wardrobe to go to PETA India! Woof-Woof Indeed!".

The tweet was then retweeted by filmmaker Pooja Bhatt. Bhatt recently announced clothes of PETA supporter Sunny Leone and other Jism-2 actors will be sold, including their underwear, to benefit charity. The auction will also include the costumes of actors Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh.

The latest campaign by PETA is with Dino Morea and Sunny Leone, they will be campaigning for adopting dogs from streets. The campaigns will be released around end of this year and the first few shots were already released by Sunny herself. It is also in news that Pooja Bhatt has now adopted 8 dogs from street and now they live happily in Bhatt's house!

PETA India's Chief Functionary Poorva Joshipura said, "Pooja Bhatt, Sunny Leone, and co-producer Dino Morea are all already supporters of PETA's homeless dog adoption campaign. We give Pooja Bhatt and the entire Jism 2 team two paws up for taking that initiative further by making PETA India a beneficiary of the Jism 2 wardrobe auction."

Sunny Leone who had already teased her fans with the love making sequences and lingerie shots in Srilanka now presents the opportunity for her fans to actually own those costumes! The fire is on!
