Silsila : 

The Yash Chopra classic love story of 1981 'Silsila' starring the most famous Jodi of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha is still loved by everyone… The songs of the movie..Yeh kaha agaye hum…, Rang Barse…and Dekha ek khwaab toh.. still bring goose bumps!

Deewar:

"MERE PAAS BANGLA HAI, GADI HAI , PAISA HAI.........TUMHARE PAAS KYAHAI???????? MERE PAAS MAA HAI" who can forget the iconic dialogue of Amitabh Bachchan & Shashi Kapoor starrer Deewar. Although not a romantic film, this 1975 film was a superduper blockbuster of its era.

Kabhie Kabhie:

Kabhi Kabhi mere dil main yeh khayaal aata hai… The eternal love story of two estranged lovers who’s destinies are intertwined with each other even after getting apart is one of the most loved movies of Bollywood.

Lamhe: A story of a young girl who falls in love with a much older guy who had once loved her mother. The film didn't do well but the performances by the actors were superb and the songs were just excellent!

Darr: When Bollywood was all about being lovey dovey…Yash ji showed a new face of love. Passion, madness, hatred and fear in the form of movie Darr that made SRK over night superstar! His infamous dialogue KKKKKKKK Kiran is still being enacted in TV shows by many!

Dil Toh Pagal Hai: Yash ji loved to experiment with emotions of love. And the musical Dil Toh Pagal Hai can be one of his experimental examples. Love is Friendship is what he taught us! Also he brought the craze of Dance which was not seen as a prestigious art form back then!

Veer Zara: Love is Sacrifice. A story of two lovers belonging to different countries was very subtly described by Yash ji with some melodiously soul touching songs sung by the nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar.

His latest and unfortunately his last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan  will be releasing soon…We all will be waiting to once again go in the world of YashRaj where dreams come true…where we get to travel to some of the most heavenly and exotic places of the world…feel the warmth of Indian culture and desi families, where our heart beats again telling us to fall in love again and again and again…

Shah Rukh Opens up after a long

Since a long period, Shahrukh's twitter followers are not having a good time, as they are missing the updates from the star. Shahrukh Khan hasn't posted much on twitter ever since his role on Yash Raj's, yet untitled movie. The actor seems to be extremely busy at London failing to keep his fans updated. But the day before today, was a surprise to the fans as he tweeted out for his friends:

"Friends films releasing,gangs of wassipur &; teri meri kahani.wish both films to entertain &; make lots of people happy. both look awesome,” 

Everyone had tagged the friendship between Anurag Kashyap and Shahrukh Khan as strange, when it happened (news here) but it seems that the King Khan is not so much cared about this event. He still maintains the good vibe that he has for the director. The two were considered bipolar - as one who is the king of romance and melodrama and for Anurag he believes in realistic movies, and a blend of both was something which did not found to be happening, but ofcourse it has!

Also SRK posted for his special friend, Priyanka Chopra, “All the best @priyankachopra for TMK. Working so can’t make it to Premier.Will catch it later if i can get tickets! It’ll be huge InshaAllah.” Priyanka who has been much in news and linked with SRK for all the wrong reasons, was thrilled at this post. It seems that the rumors and gossips about the actors aren't really affecting the personal relationships. 

There was reports that increasing bond of SRK with Priyanka is not much appreciated by Gauri Khan, wife of the superstar. It was also said that SRK's wife was stopping her friends from inviting Priyanka over to their clubs and functions, but it seems that things have started to sort out.(news here).

SRK may be moving out of twitter due to a busy schedule or may be hates to get distracted, but either way it was a pleasant surprise to see the tweets coming in after a long period.

Khiladi to kick after Ajay and SRK

In true friendship gesture, Akshay Kumar really shows how real a friend he is to Ajay Devgan and Shah Rukh Khan. The recent event happened after the announcement of his movie, yet another 'Khiladi' series named 'Khiladi 786', the movie was scheduled to be released during Diwali. But the actor has now decided to postpone the release. And the reasons stated is friendship! yes, it is for the fact that he doesn't want his movie to conflict with Ajay Devgan's 'Son Of Sardar' and Shah Rukh Khan's Yash Raj directed movie (still unnamed! huh!). 

The recent patch ups with SRK and his long ending friendship with Ajay Devgan is the sole reason why he wouldn't want to compete with the two (Or is it another marketting tactics!). But the later part of the story will reveal that its truly friendship. It is said that Son Of Sardar was a title that Akshay Kumar had in mind and he was working on a script to make the movie, he is also said to have registered his own banner for the movie named 'Hari Om Productions'. But this is the time when Ajay announced his movie, later it is said that Ajay had visited Akshay on the sets of 'Rowdy Rathore' and Akshay did not cause a mess and readily agreed with a handshake. So when Ajay said that he is releasing his movie by Diwali 2012, he just postponed his movie to avoid clashes. That's Akshay!

Akshay Kumar who is currently in busy promotions of 'Rowdy Rathore' his action flick after a long comedy break. He also has the movie Joker in his list, whose promotions will be starting as soon as RR releases. 

"Ajay can't stop raving about Akshay's touching gesture of letting go of the title. In fact, it was also on his request that Akshay postponed the release of Khiladi 786," added the source.

Khiladi is co-produced by Singer/Music Director/Actor (did we miss anything?) Himesh Reshammiya, and ask if he did feel bad about postponing the movie, its 'NO' because he is perfectly cool about it as SOS by Ajay Devgan is having his music. So to avoid confusion between songs - he might have suggested postponing the movie himself! 

The Akshay Kumar starrer will be directed by debutante Ashish R Mohan under HR Musik, Eros International Media Ltd and Hari Om Entertainment Co.

I don't know what you call an item number - Katrina

The subject line says it all, Katrina Kaif is surprised by the way we are calling certain songs an item number! Katrina Kaif who is having a dream run at the moment is busy scheduling her dates for the three lead stars of the industry. She is the second of heroines who has the luck of working with all three Khan's of the industry. She is back from the shoots of Yash Raj's movie with Shah Rukh Khan and is currently preparing for an item number shoot for 'Ek Tha Tiger', which stars her opposite Salman Khan. She is also scheduled to start shooting for Dhoom 3, which is with Aamir Khan!

Katrina is excited at shooting an item song for her soon-to-be-released "Ek Tha Tiger" and said: "I don't know what you call an item number. It is a very interesting song. I will shoot for it tomorrow (Tuesday)," Katrina said.

She is also excited about her work with the the three Khan's, "This doesn't make sense to me. It is unfair," Katrina told reporters here when asked to pick her favourite Khan."If suppose if you will ask them to choose one of the actresses, even I will feel bad. Everyone is different. All three of them are icons and legends in their own way. I am fortunate enough to work with them. It's been great so far." added the diplomatic side of Katrina.

Has the work made her bit possessive about the actors, one might guess so with her latest comment "If I had the chance, I would not allow anyone to work with them. But that is not possible as you cannot stop anyone from working with them," she added.The 27-year-old was speaking at the unveiling of Nakshatra's new logo.

"With Salman, I am working for the third time and I had an amazing time. With Shah Rukh the shooting is going on and I h-ad fun. It was good working with him," says the charming heroine, she has been well known for her style and beauty and the work with the three leading stars of the industry will just boost her up better.

Ek Tha Tiger will be the first to be out - so lets watch out!

Abhishek is not in 'Happy New Year' - Shahrukh

In midst of the controversial news and gossips, SRK still stands tall and when he speaks out its the final word. The same happened about the rumor that Shahrukh Khan was out of Farah Khan's next. Recently a tabloid did mention that SRK was out of the cast in Farah's next - Happy New Year. When he was out at a media event organized by Tag Heur, one of the companies that the superstar endorses, he took the podium to clarify himself. 

 “Well, that’s not correct. In fact, I happened to read it in the newspapers myself. The cast has not been decided yet, except for one, that’s me… the announcement will be made soon hopefully,” says the superstar. Who is pretty much confident on what he does. He is seen all over the television these days and he seems to be flying by the team to every match that his team plays. When media asked him if he felt hectic about the tight schedules that he maintains, he gave this out with a laugh “What hectic?I fly in my private plane. I’m a fu***n’ superstar man! I live in a presidential suite. I go cheer for my team, wish them luck, I get to chat up with people outside work and I enjoy it,”

The relationship between Tag Heur and SRK has been for nine years now and they are still running strong. Endorsing a watch should be fun and one might think that it will have made SRK more punctual and a better time manager but he laughs this off  “I don’t think it’s got anything to do with me being punctual or prompt. In fact, had that been the criteria I don’t think I would ever qualify to endorse a watch,” (sigh!)

Since this is vacation time, its the usual trip that media was expecting from SRK with family. Being known better as a family man, SRK says that he always finds time during the vacation days to get out for a trip with the family. “I usually take time off in June because the kids have a vacation. But this time I’ll be working, shooting in Europe. So most probably they’ll join me mid-June some time,” he adds. “I usually plan my shoots in a way that I can spend ample time with my family too.”

SRK is currently busy shooting for his Yash Raj productions and is awaiting for the cricketing season to end (by this month) to start out for the second schedule.

Kats getting leaner? - Dhoom 3

Now seriously, how much more are you gonna mould her?  Katrina Kaif who has had her makeovers done over and over is going to be doing it again for Dhoom 3. She has been the hot abs girl in Sheila, the biker girl in ZNMD and now she is the chubby girl for Yash Raj... Katrina Kaif just doesn't stop there, she is already preparing herself for the next big venture opposite Mr. Perfectionist - Aamir Khan. 

In Dhoom3, Katrina plays the role of a gymnast and she has to get more leaner for this movie as per her trainer.  Her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala has already started preparing her workout regime as soon as she returns from London to Mumbai, Yasmin says “Kat needs to get flexible and lean, so when she returns from London, we will change her workout routine…She doesn’t need to look thin, but lean.”. Katrina is currently working with Shah Rukh Khan for Yash Raj directed (yet to be named) movie in London. 

Her dedication to the work is also reflected by her acts, as she has already hired in a new international trainer for herself in London. The sources mention that she is already working out on her core muscles and is been doing the workouts to increase her stamina and agility. She currently does a workout of 2 hours daily and this will continue for the next four months when she finishes the Yash Raj venture and returns to Mumbai.

Dhoom 3 is said to show the action side of Katrina Kaif as well, she has been doing this already in Ek Tha Tiger, another YRF venture, but it seems that her action sequences wont stop with ETT and will continue till Dhoom 3. 

With these three movies in the line she has also gained the name as the actress who has worked with all three Khans and this time she will be doing this under the same production house. She is equally excited about the roles and is currently enjoying the romantic times that she is having with SRK.

SRK - Yash Raj Movie on floors today!

The much talked about return of Yash Raj into direction is all ready to happen as the movie had a pooja at the Yash Raj Films. The movie will mark the return of the veteran director after seven years and the last film that he had did with SRK was 'Veer-Zaara' which did narrate the story of cross-border love and was a great hit of the time. 

The latest news was broke by his son, Uday Chopra, who often assists father with direction who tweeted "Launching my Dads film today with a little Pooja at YRF..shoot starts tomorrow with @iamsrk and Katrina Kaif..Dad directing after Veer-Zaara".

SRK also couldn't hide his excitement as he says "Feel extremely happy when I start work with yashji...from the inside. Easy...smiles...happiness...purity of storytelling. Flying to dubai." on his tweet on Friday. The movie will have Katrina Kaif doing the lead role and also will have Anushka Sharma, the YRF kid working too.

The music of the movie is given by A R Rahman and the lyrics will be penned by Gulzar. The movie still stays untitled, but we should have that pretty soon.

The movie has raised high expectations among the fans, let love rain once again!

Shahrukh back with Yash Raj's movie

Yes, the hit team is going to come back after seven years. The last time we saw the magic was with Veer Zara, which rocked the scene. It is going to be Yash Raj back in the director's chair and Shah Rukh Khan doing the lead role. The movie is also going to star Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif as the female leads.

SRK said, "We will start the shoot for Yashji's film in Jan 2012 most probably. It's a love story. I enjoy working with him. He is doing this after a long time, so all of us are extremely excited. Yashji also knows me really well. If there's an IPL, he is kind enough to schedule the shoot accordingly so that I get to attend few matches as well."

Anushka Sharma too wasn't able to contain her happiness. "Not only am I working with Shah Rukh Khan again but also working with Indian cinema's one of the finest filmmakers ever Yash Chopra" gushed Anushka.

Katrina Kaif on the other hand is tense about sharing screen with the king of romance! "It's Shah Rukh Khan I am going to be working with! He's known for the romance he emotes on camera! I wonder if I will be able to pluck up some courage at the shoot" revealed a thrilled Katrina.

So the romantic season will fall once again!

Esha Deol Grabs YSR flick

Tell Me O Kkhuda was a beautiful movie but it had to fight the massive one and had to subside. But the efforts which were made by Esha Deol hasn't gone in-vain. The latest news is that the performance of Esha had been such appreciated that she is about to be in the Yash Raj crew for the upcoming movie. The next flick from YSR will star Esha along with Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Source mentioned that "Yash Raj ji was impressed by Esha's performance in 'Tell Me O Kkhuda' and called her up for the movie".

Its not the first time Esha is under the banner, she had done Dhoom 2 with the banner which went ahead to be a great hit. The director and yesteryear heroine for YSR, Hema Malini also shares a good contact with Yash Raj and has worked in big hits like 'Trishul' and 'Veer-Zaara'.

Hema Malini said to the media that "Yashji did see Tell Me O Kkhuda and really liked Esha's performance. He was kind enough to call up and say how much he liked the film and Esha.".

Hema Ji was also cool on the fact that her movie had a cold performance at the box-office, she said "We were not looking at a 2,000-print release of our film. Nor did we need to recover money to the tune of Rs 200 crores to make a profit, like Ra.one did. I'd be safe if Tell Me O Kkhuda makes 25 crores. It's a much smaller film than Ra.One, and so we were not worried about the number of prints Shah Rukh has put out. We knew all along Ra.One was a bigger film."
