Kareena To Be Prime Minister for Jha

This will be as unique as what Katrina had done in Rajneeti. The latest news is that Kareena has been offered the role of a politician in the movie sequel of 'Rajneeti'. The movie is still on tables but the inclusion of Ajay Devgan to the crew has made this opening possible for Kareena.

The movie Rajneeti, had changed the image of Katrina Kaif as an actress, who used to do bubbly or mostly romantic roles to a serious one and she had handled it quite stunning way. Now it is said that the movie will see Kareena Kapoor playing the prime minister.

A source says "Kareena Kapoor will be seen playing the Prime Minister of India in Prakash Jha’s political sequel. The film is supposed to go on floors by the end of the year, and apparently it was Ajay who suggested that Kareena should play the role. Jha immediately agreed, and after Omkara, it will be her first major performance-oriented role, where she would also be de-glamourised."

We wonder where Katrina will fill in if it is Kareena playing the master role!

After Kareena had moved out of 'Ram-Leela', Sanjay Bhansali movie, she has now said to have given dates to three other movies for the 150 days that she had set aside for Bhansali. The manager of Kareena says that it was always wise to work on three projects in 150 days than to do a single movie.

The other movie that is on floor is Punit Malhotra's movie, which is being produced by Karan Johar and will see Imran Khan once again casted opposite Kareena after 'Ek Main Aur Ek Tu'. A source close to Karan revealed, "She has given preference to Punit's film simply because of Karan. Karan, Punit and Kareena met at the Dharma Productions office in Khar recently. By the end of the lengthy discussion, Karan prevailed upon her and Kareena was convinced about the project."

So finally the 'Heroine' does do away with the vast canvas of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. We wonder who is gonna fill in the space? Anushka Sharma's luck will run again?

Shahid Kapoor opts out of Karan Johar's movie

Shahid Kapoor has opted out of Punit Malhotra's upcoming film. Of late its said that Actor Shahid Kapoor has become very choosy. The actor who was all set to do Punit Malhotra's next film opted out of it for some reason.

The Untitled Project, a romantic comedy will be directed by Punit Malhotra and produced under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The movie was supposed to star Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. 

Shahid who couldn't work in Karan Johar's Kaal in 2005 had to wait seven years to be offered another film from the production house. Sadly, due to date issues, the actor had to opt out of the Punit Malhotra directorial as well. Shahid had then said, "I hope it doesn't take us another seven years to work again." 

According to a source, the actor was always in two minds about doing Punit's second film. Apart from that Shahid wanted to involve himself at the script level. He even suggested a few changes in the script and later went on giving his inputs for the casting of the film. But the director wasn't happy with Shahid's extra involvement and discussed the same with producer Karan Johar. Karan Johar wasn't in favor of altering the script and wished that they go ahead with the original. When things didn't go according to Shahid, the actor decided to opt out.

However, Shahid Kapoor managed to bag another movie, Maneesh Sharma's next to be produced by Yash Raj Films.

Punit Malhotra's first film, I Hate Luv Storys which was released on 2nd July 2010 was made on a budget of 25 crores, the film grossed over 60 crores. Before directing, he was also into modelling and has done a number of commercials and short films. He is the nephew of famous Indian designer Manish Malhotra.

Sonam Starts a new Trend!

Sonam Kapoor has been voted the style icon of bollywood in the recent past and she proves that she is entitled not without a reason. In a recent talk show with Simi Garewal, she mentioned that she has got her tongue pierced. Ever since her launch to the industry from Saawariya, she has been constantly changing herself in looks. She was all sparkling in the show.

She mentioned that she is a very fashion conscious person and keeps her looks changing. She said that most of her friends are from the fashion industry and designers, they do help her keep to the mark. She also confirmed that she is aware of how her body looks and how to make her presentable.

Although there were lot talks but she preferred to keep mum on her relationship question. She is allegedly dating Punit Malhotra, a famous movie director.
