South Fascination unleashed! - Aiyaa

Rani Mukherjee has done it again when all thought that the movie 'The Dirty Picture' had done it all. Now its Rani's turn to make the Bollywood screens litter with the hottness of South dances. The latest movie Aiyaa has been the venue for Rani to unleash herself back to the glory. Her playful screen image just adds to the good part. 

Sachin Kundalkar, the director of the movie says that this is his attempt to describe the wish of Maharashtrian girl to have a guy from south and celebrate life like in South Indian movies, he says "I am very fond of South Indians and to show Rani's character longing for her hero came very naturally to me. Amit Trivedi has strung together Amitabh Bhattacharya's lyrics through his mesmerising tunes. This film was the best vehicle for South superstar Prithviraj to make his Hindi film debut."

The item song of the movie 'Dreamum Wakeupum' is already trending and this shows the entire cast wearing the dresses like in old South Indian movies dancing and showing off body like anything. "It was a celebration of South Indian culture and the best way to let people know about our hero, Prithviraj," says the debutant director.

He also clarifies the idea of his movie "It is a carnal desire of a Maharashtrian woman for these men that is expressed in the song. It is conveying a South Indian man's physicality but very gracefully. It is not about the emotions but more about the body of a man." says Sachin.

The song shows South Super star Prithviraj in six pack abs and dancing to the tunes of Rani. The song also have another special, as the spotboy for Rani Mukherjee turns a singer in the song. Rani says "We were jamming at the studio trying to figure out a catchphrase we could use in the song ‘Dreamum’. That’s when Amit and Amitabh remembered that Amose is from Tamil Nadu.” Soon, Amose was made to join the discussion and list some Tamil words that could be used in the setting of a love song. Adds the actor, “Finally he came up with ‘unne, rande, mune, nale’, which means one two three four.”

The original portion was retained by Amit Trivedi, the music director for the movie and hence the debut singing for Amose. The movie is jointly produced by Anurag Kashyap and UTV Motion pictures and will hit the screens on 12 October 2012.

Mahie Gill and Neha Dhupia are so into it!

We are talking about the commitment that these actors take up when they sign for movies. We have been posting examples of leading ladies but it seems that the habit is evident on all successful actresses in the industry. Recently we got to learn about the snippets from Neha Dhupia and Mahie Gill, both making our jaws drop down- may be further!

Mahie Gill who is a renowned for her bold skills and acting talents, when it comes to a character, there is nothing she wont do. Be it her first movie Dev D or the recent one 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster', the actress has been keen on showing off her body for the role and she has been accepting the lip-locks - love making with ease. And now when Tigmanshu Dhulia, decided to make a sequel to 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster', it was certain that no one else could replace Mahie. Now the controversial part - Mahie was drinking a shot of vodka every day for the shoots at 8 a.m. - she had revealed this to a paper recently and the reason for this was again her character who had to be drunk and Mahie being a perfectionist herself did not want to fake the looks!

A source quotes Mahie saying - "At times I used to drink vodka at 8 am and get high on it. Though the weather was so hot in Gujarat, the crew had a ball of a time seeing me drinking and getting high early morning."

Neha Dhupia, who is always busy with star shows and dancing is gonna be a highlight and this is again for 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2' - and this is the first time after a long period that audience will see Neha in a sexy avtar and she doesn't want to disappoint them. "She's working harder to look her sexiest best and is also keenly involved in her outfits and styling for it. And next week, she's also likely to meet the choreographer to discuss the her moves in the item number," said our source, adding that the only time the lissome lass got a bit lenient with her diet was on Monday, when she celebrated her 32nd birthday.

Halkat Jawani Rocks the music charts

As promised, Kareena Kapoor has come out with her sexiest avtar with Halkat Jawani, the song is already trending and the act of Kareena is getting praised without any compromises. And she seems to be challenging the league of Katrina Kaif and Malaika Arora Khan who have been the most successful with the cameo or hot item songs for movies. 

"This is the raunchiest number I have ever done. There's so much exposure,” Kareena Kapoor had told a daily about Halkat Jawani.

“I have always done classy songs. This song has more mass appeal,” she added. (view song here)

As per reports, Kareena Kapoor's bright pink saree and dark blue blouse in her item song Halkat Jawani would be auctioned for a cause.

"The money will be donated to a charitable organisation, which Kareena is associated to,"  a source told Mid Day. "Halkat Jawaani' is a great song, Niranjan has done a fabulous job with the lyrics and master (Ganesh Acharya) has done an absolutely great job with the moves," Kareena said. 

Ganesh Acharya who was given seven days to complete the song was able to do this in a span of two days and the sources confirm that the song was done in one take!

Bhandarkar, too is satisfied with the song. '"The steps are very desi. Ganeshji has choreographed the dance very well," he said

The movie will be hitting screens by September 21st and along with Kareena, the film also stars actors Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and Rakesh Bapat, while Shahana Goswami, Divya Dutta, Helen, Shillpi Sharma, Mugdha Godse and Lillete Dubey will be seen in supporting roles.

Sonakshi Sinha won't have skimpy clothes or kisses on screen

For a while, everyone was expecting the traditional beauty, Sonakshi Sinha to go western. With the hot numbers in 'Rowdy Rathore' she had given a hint of what she was going to do. But it seems that the actress has set different mind on the dressings. She isn't comfortable doing the open exposure that is normally common among bollywood movies!

"I am very clear on those grounds. In any case, everybody has a choice to do or not do something. I’ve always been very clear about not kissing and wearing skimpy clothes. It’s a personal choice. That’s how I have been brought up. If at all, a role that requires me to do either of those things is offered, I won’t take it up. Why do it when you aren’t going to be comfortable?” says Sona, (why !!?? ) That is the expression she keeps about her coming up in a micro mini or shorter dress avtar. 

Sonakshi might also be listed as another heroine who has been criticized for her not-size zero shape, she has always been tagged as plumply and bit oversize. But that doesn't affect the attitude of Sona, she is clearly aware of her limitations and she is perfectly cool with the criticizing  “Of course I am proud of my body, in fact everyone should be proud of their body. Everyone looks different. I am a healthy, happy girl. I wear clothes and do roles I am comfortable with. I think I have convincingly played whatever roles have come my way till date.” says the actress.

Sonakshi Sinha, who hold the lineage from great actor is aware of the fact that she might have to work it out, but she doesn't want to do this for showcasing her body on screen, and she says "“I haven’t really had to draw the line where my roles are concerned because so far, I’ve only done films that my family would be comfortable watching."

We hope she holds to this opinion in coming years as well, because in the land of Katrina's and Kareena's it might be really tough for her to hold this statement true to all times. Although as every other heroine she can still blame it on the "script demands" for shedding further - in future! :Sigh:

Size zero or not size zero, Sonakshi still stays in demand by both her fans and her film friends. She who has just completed her next sexy avtar in 'Oh My God' is happy about the item number, this was choreographed by Prabhu Deva,  “I love to dance and I’ve always been very comfortable with it. But now-a-days every song is touted as an item number. My song is a special song. It was even more special because Prabhudheva choreographed it. It’s a Gokulashtami song. I had a great time shooting for it,” she reveals.

Can't wait to see it! Oh My God releases on the 31st of August, so we will have to wait a month to see how well that went!

Sonakshi on Confusion clouds - Help!

Oh My God, its not only the name of the movie but it is also what Sonakshi Sinha is saying when she wanted to pick her wardrobe for the move. She is in great dilemma and has now asked for her fans to choose from the designs. Is it a publicity stunt? may be, you can consider everything to be for publicity, but for some reason people truly have this confusion after seeing the designs, will those look good on the otherwise, desi girl who has always been seen on-screen in desi avtars?

The confusion started when she was approached for a sizzling dance number in Akshay's co-production venture along with Ashwini Yardi, Oh My God!, under their banner Grazing Goat Productions.

The song is a Gokulashtami festive song called 'Go Govinda'. The ace choreographer and now director, Prabhudheva who created the Rowdy Rathore magic, will not only be choreographing this song but also matching steps with Sonakshi. Sources say that the actress was in a dilemma about doing this track because it will test her dancing powers and she has to ensure she looks right in it. It is said that renowned designer, Ashley Rebello, who happens to be Salman's personal designer, will be roped in, to get her look perfect for the number. Ashwini Yardi, co-producer of Oh My God! confirmed the news saying that Sonakshi is doing the song in the film.

Even with the designers already giving her the two looks she has been still confused and have asked to choose between the two designs and tweet her about which you feel will look good on her. 

Its tough one Sona, as we still have a confusion on what will look good on you, if you had put in the photos with both dresses on, it will have been much more easier!

With Rowdy Rathore in high skies, it seems that Akshay has started considering the actress a lucky charm for him and he doesn't want anything short of Prabhudeva for the song. We hope she finalizes on the fan's choice of dress.

Rajnikanth for Talaash - Item Number

Forget Dhoom 3, its Talaash that is going to see the superstar Rajnikanth doing a cameo, or most probably will have him. The cameo which is said to be formulated on a massive budget of 50 crores and to be shot across 200 countries and is said to show up various celebrities, if the sources are to be believed. The movie Talaash, which had been postponed due to various reasons and commitments, seems to be adding up new details to itself.

The cameo will be shot in exotic locations and the crew is planning to do this over 50 locations across various countries. The rumor has it that Rajnikanth has charged a whooping sum of Rs. 15 crore for the song. 

Speaking to TOI, the spokesperson for Rajnikanth says that there has been no such schedule for the actor who is currently completing, Kochadiyan, which is another humongous project for the star. The spokesperson also added "No one has approached Rajini sir in this regard yet."

The movie Kochadiyaan, which is said to be released by the end of the year is been shot at full thrust, so the new rumors might be just another publicity stunt. 

But it seems that there are lot of fans who would love to see the duo together, atleast for a cameo!

Prabhu deva in Oh My God !!!

According to the latest buzz is that actor-director-choreographer Prabhu deva will be seen doing an item number.

Prabhu Deva will be seen doing an item number with Sonakshi Sinha in Akshay Kumar's film. In the movie Oh My God Akshay Kumar will be seen with Sonakshi Sinha (trailer here). This movie is based on Gujarati play Kanji Viruddh Kanji and being directed by Umesh Shukla. Oh My God will be Akshay Kumar's next release.

TV celebrity Sachin Parikh played the lead role in the original play. He said that, "I have seen Akshay right from his first movie. The way he has taken his graph as an actor is amazing. Be it comedy, satire or action,  Akshay does them all so convincingly."

He added, "I admire him as an actor. The character which I portrayed will be shown in a different angle and manner. It will be performed differently, so I am sure Akshay would do wonders."

The play "Kanji Virudhh Kanji" was remade in Hindi too. Its Hindi version, featuring Paresh Rawal in the lead, is called "Krishna vs Kanhaiya".

It is said that Akshay personally requested Prabhudeva to perform in this item number and Prabhu deva immediately agreed to be a part of Akshay Kumar's next action flick. So now the one who makes other people dance to his tunes will be seen doing an item number.

Prabhudeva's latest Hindi movie, 'Rowdy Rathore' co-produced with IBC Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali Films has been declared a hit and is seeing a good run in the box-office. The film features Akshay  Kumar in double roles opposite Sonakshi Sinha. It is a remake of the Ravi Teja starrer Telugu film Vikramarkudu which had been dubbed into Malayalam as Vikramathithya, into Bhojpuri as Vikram Singh Rathod IPS, and into Tamil as Siruthai. It marks the return of Akshay Kumar in the action genre after 7 years. The film released on 1 June 2012, and was declared a "Blockbuster" by Box Office India.

1crore item number in queue : Kareena Kapoor

No we are not talking about Halkat Jawaani, it is already marked as red hot even before the song is released. But we are talking about the south movie that is about to have Kareena Kapoor in hot avatar. The sizzling item number will be for S. J Suryah's tamil movie 'Isai'. The director-actor is in touch with Kareena to fix the deal and if the sources are to be believed she has been offered a humongous sum of Rs. 1 crore for the item number. Its high time Kareena!!

S. J Suryah, who is known for his talent in direction and acting is all set to make the movie, 'Isai' go large. And this is the reason why he went up to Kareena. He also has had the opportunity to work with her in the movie 'Khushi'. 

We are yet to get a confirmation that she has accepted the offer, but the sources do confirm that she has agreed to listen to the item number. Kareena who is currently filming the item number for 'Heroine' will soon be free from the schedule and this is the time when 'Isai' plans to rope her. We will wait on it.

Meanwhile, it seems that as wedding dates are coming near, the famous catfights between Kareena and other actresses have come to an end. As most of them including, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and Frieda pinto has come up with appreciations for the actress and feels that she is extremely talented to try her new looks in 'Heroine'.

In an interview Kareena had even said "“How many times will I patch up with her? I have never had any issues with Priyanka,” clarifies Bebo. “It was very sweet of Priyanka to come over. Honestly speaking, I have never looked at her as a competitor.” The alleged fight was started when Priyanka mocked Kareena and asked “Does Kareena have a computer in the first place?” But back in 2010, when Karan Johar had asked what Priyanka would like to steal from Bollywood actresses computers, including Bebo!

Priyanka has also clarified that she doesn't have any issues with Kareena, “I’m a very friendly person, but I never go out of my way to make friends. I never really had any issue with Kareena. I met her at Madhur’s set and Madhur is like family. I am very content in my space.”

Kareena was also spotted for her new looks in Halkat Jawaani, in which she brings in a bit more fat look than her usual size zero. When asked if Fat was the new trend she clarified ""Being fat is not sexy! Anyone who says that is talking crap. Voluptuous is sexy, but fat is out. Any woman who says she doesn't want to be thin is talking nonsense. It's every girl's dream."(that was for you Sonakshi ;-))

Salman to shoot for item number in SOS in July

Bollywood super star Salman Khan will shoot for the item number for his friend Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardar by the end of July.

Ashwani Dheer, the film director said that, "We shot for one scene with Salman recently. But he will be doing the song by the end of July."

He added that, "Presently we are shooting in Mumbai and we have almost finished some portion of the shooting in Patiala."

It is said that Salman Khan will not charge any fees for the item number. He will be seen shaking his leg in Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardar entirely on a friendly basis and he will not charge Ajay Devgn a penny. Previously, actor Ajay Devgn had also done a cameo in Salman Khan's super hit movie Ready which was released in the year 2011.

Son Of Sardar is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by Ashwani Dhir, and produced by Ajay Devgn's home production house. The film features Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, Mukul Dev, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The distribution rights of the movie are bought by UTV Pictures. The film is reportedly inspired from the Telugu film Maryada Ramanna. The film is scheduled for release on November 30, 2012.

Sunny has no plans of item number

When Prem Adda, the Kannada film - announced that they have bagged in Sunny Leone for the hot item number it was a great boost for their movie as more people were eager to see Sunny in a sexy avtar. But it seems that the news was just as made up as anything else. Sunny Leone who has went ahead to clarify that she wont be doing any item numbers and she just has the movies 'Jism 2 and Ragini MMS2' in her contracts. So that puts an end to the tale.

With the buzzing of this item number going on she decided to tweet her response “For all the rumors, the only 2 movies I am signed to shoot this year are Jism 2 and Ragini..... Nothing Else....Don't believe what you read, no plans for any item numbers as of yet, “says in her tweet.

Prem Adda is the remake of the Tamil blockbuster Subramaniyapuram that starred Jai and Swati in the lead roles. Prem directs the film, and plays the lead as well. Kriti Karbanda is the heroine.

As Jism2 progresses there is more and more buzz about how the movie is shaping in. The extreme love making sequences are being a buzz at the production house and there are more eyes waiting eagerly for the first glimpse of the movie. The latest and interesting tweet was from Randeep Hooda who says "

"Just finished a major lovemaking scene for @Jism2. Extreme, exhausting and exhilarating. Hope we can turn people 'on' all over with it,"

Now what do you mean by major one? is there many more minor sequences ? lol! 

Jism 2, a sequel to 2003 film Jism, is being directed by Pooja Bhatt. It marks Sunny Leone's debut in Bollywood.

Sonakshi Hasn't been offered an Item number!

Says Sonakshi Sinha, who is getting ready for next month's grand release of 'Rowdy Rathore'. The actress who just had one outing at the box office with 'Dabaang' had a immense success when the movie got released and she hopes to repeat history as her movie is ready for June 1. She has also had a great image makeover from the traditional, yet bold village girl in Dabaang to a classy and hot girl in Rowdy Rathore. Although Sonakshi claims that there hasn't been a deliberate attempt made for this, but the shots does reveal her new style and its interesting to see her in the glamour side.

When asked about her songs like Dhandaang or Chamak Challo, she denies cleanly that those are not item songs in any context. She says she hasn't been offered an item number to the date but for the songs they are purely based on situation and she adds that audience will realize this when the movie hits the screens. Does this mean that Sonakshi is not going to do an item number? "I haven't been offered any item number till now. If there is a good song, I am convinced enough and I am presented in a right way, then why not," Sonakshi clarifies. 

"'Chammak challo chail chabeeli' is not an item song. It's a very situational song with a wedding as its backdrop," she says. Sonakshi who also has a series of movies waiting up for release after Rowdy Rathore. She is currently working on completing Son-Of-Sardar, where she pairs opposite Ajay Devgan and she also has Joker, Dabaang 2 and Lootera in the line. 

“I didn’t plan it, but it’s fantastic how things have fallen into place. I know all of them might not hit bull’s eye, but what’s important is that I’m enjoying my work, even though I’ve been shooting every day. I’ve just begged for a day off on my birthday, June 2,” she says. 

She also finishes with the note "I am not waiting to get a role that will change my desi girl image, but still if I get something, which requires me to be more westernised and my character is good I won't mind doing it. Right now I am happy representing my own culture," she said.

Rowdy Rathore also marks the coming back of Akshay Kumar in the Action roles again after the long break he had took when his comical roles went out to be a great hit. The movie is directed by Prabhudeva and is being co produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Vijay to do a cameo in Rowdy Rathore

Tamil super star Vijay to do a special cameo in the movie Rowdy Rathore. Buzz is that he will be seen shaking his leg with Akshay Kumar in the song 'Chinta Ta'. 

Currently actor Vijay is shooting for A R Murugadoss's "Thuppakki" in Mumbai and when director Prabhudeva asked him for the cameo without giving it a second thought he agreed.

Vijay said that, "I have always been a fan of Akshay Kumar since his 'Khiladi' days. Prabhudeva just asked me once and I readily agreed to do it. They were very friendly and I won't ever forget the experience shooting for the song. Also, the promos of 'Rowdy Rathore' are very interesting."

It is even said that Vijay is doing the special number absolutely free of cost for the director. 

Rowdy Rathore is the remake of the hit Telugu film Vikramarkudu (which was remade in Tamil as Siruthai). The action thriller movie is directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. The film features Akshay Kumar in double role opposite Sonakshi Sinha. The movie is scheduled for release on 1 June 2012. Rowdy Rathore will mark the return of Akshay Kumar in the action genre after 7 years.

Vijay was last seen in the remake of 3 Idiots titled Nanban. Vijay and Prabhudeva have worked together in the Tamil blockbuster "Pokkiri" which was directed by Pabhudeva in the year 2007. Pokkiri even had a hindi remake, Wanted which was released in the year 2009 and the movie starred  Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia, Prakash Raj, Vinod Khanna and Mahesh Manjrekar in the lead roles.

Sunny Leone in Zanjeer Remake

Buzz is that Indo-Canadian actress and model Sunny Leone is likely to do an item song in the remake of Zanjeer.

It is said that the movie would have two item songs one with Mahie Gill, who plays the role of Prakash Raj's Mona Darling and other one with Sunny Leone. 

Porn star turned actress Sunny Leone had previously said a no to Ram Gopal Varma for Department's item song. Director Apoorva Lakhia and producer Amit Mehra are holding talks with Sunny Leone and an official announcement will be out anytime from now.

Remake of the 1973 blockbuster will feature actress Priyanka Chopra playing the street smart female. The movie will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia co-produced by Prakash Mehra's son Amit Mehra and Reliance Entertainment. Telugu actor Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja will reprise the role of Amitabh Bachchan in the film. Priyanka will play the role of an independent, bold and spirited girl who runs a NRI cafe. 

Zanjeer which was released in 1973 is a Hindi film directed and produced by Prakash Mehra, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Pran, Ajit and Bindu. The movie changed the trend from romantic films to action films and pioneered Amitabh's new image of a brooding but explosive person who fights back when cornered. He was now known as "The Angry Young Man." The film was a super hit. It collected over Rs. 5 crores (Rs. 50 million) at the box office.

Sunny Leone is currently shooting for Jism 2 and has also signed Ekta Kapoor's movie Ragini MMS 2.

Rowdy Rathore expelled from Hampi

Hampi one of the historical villages in Karnataka was the chosen place for 'Rowdy Rathore' the upcoming movie flick from Prabhudeva. The movie required the ambiance and feel that the palaces and temples of Hampi would give, but it seems that the authorities at Hampi doesn't seem to like what happened over the shooting. It is said that officials of Hampi World Heritage Area Management Authority (HWHAMA) has asked the crew to leave the premises with immediate effect!

Hampi is preserved by the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) and has certain rules to be followed while shooting at the premises. It is to protect the place from damages considering its historical values. It seems that the crew did forget these parts and were violating this at high time. A source says "The production house recently violated the rules of a historic place by bringing in a convoy of 20 vehicles in a restricted area. After this, on Tuesday, the cast and crew including Akshay and Sonakshi were asked to leave the place,".

The officials of HWHAMA has confirmed this news and Dr. Ashok, commissioner to HWHAMA said "We asked them to pack up for violating rules that were conditions for granting permission. It was the call of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and we enforced it. We are also making certain amendments to the rules to ensure such things are not repeated.” 

It seems that the production house had got permissions only from ASI instead of HWHAMA who directly governs the premises of Hampi. Now to continue the movie will have to wait on the NOC from HWHAMA. 

Rowdy Rathore is a action-comedy flick from Prabhudeva and this movie also packs some extreme action sequences by Akshay Kumar and there is also said to be a peppy number by Sonakshi Sinha marking her entry into the Item number world!

Salman's special gift for Kareena

It is said that Salman Khan who is busy working in his brother's directional debut 'Dabangg 2' has gifted Kareena for doing an item number in the movie.

When Arbaaz Khan approached Kareena Kapoor to do an item number in Dabangg 2, not only did she agree but she also said that she would do it for free. One of the highest paid actresses of B-town did an item number without even charging a penny.

But Salman Khan  as a token of appreciation and gratitude, has decided to gift Kareena a BMW 7 series car.

The news that Salman Khan would be giving Kareena a special gift started doing the rounds after a tweet from the UTV Motion Pictures’ senior manager Prithwish Ganguly. Prithwish tweeted, “@BeingSalmanKhan to gift Kareena Kapoor a BMW for being a part of Dabangg 2”

In the beginning when Kareena was approached for the item number she had placed many demands. A source had said that, “Bebo wants something that hasn`t been done before. She has told Arbaaz that the song shouldn`t even be promoted like an item song but like a part of the film. Other demands aside, she also wants the song to be part of a dream sequence.”

And dearest Salman Khan not only agreed to fulfill all those demands, but also planned to gift her a brand new BMW.

Kareena will be seen doing a rustic number in get in Dabangg 2.

Dan Dan Girl on Twitter - Nathalia Kaur

The recent teasers from 'Department' has been a big hit and Ram Gopal Varma is not leaving a stone unturned before he launches his next item girl! The Brazilian girl with Indian descents, Nathalia Kaur, will make her grand debut with the movie 'Department'. RGV was again the first to welcome her to the social media and even posted her poster on twitter and added the note ""Here's welcoming the red hot 'dan dan' girl Nathalia Kaur from 'Department' to the twitter world... she's worth following to the end of the world,"

Nathalia Kaur, has been grossing low on the twitter arena though, she currently has only 1500 followers since her arrival. The steamy posters are already on RGV's facebook page, but it seems that the news of her being on twitter is spreading out low. But she shouldn't be worrying as the followers of  RGV are already getting her advertisements through his tweets, the recent one was "Watch Nathalia Kaur's 'dan dan' song teaser at the above link. The music of 'dan dan' song is by Dharam-Sandeep, lyrics by Vayu and singers Paroma and Ravindra," he wrote.

The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, as gangster Sarjerao Gaikwad, while southern actor Rana Daggubati will be seen as a grungy policeman. The plot is all set to be a huge action thriller and is all set to be released by May 18, 2012.

Salman Khan to do an item number in Dabangg 2

After dancing with the hot Malaika Arora Khan in 'Munni Badnam Hui' and Sonakshi Sinha in 'Humka Peeni Hai' the DABANGG star Salman Khan is all set to do an item number in its sequel DABANGG 2.

Salman Khan will be dancing on a peppy item number titled 'Pandeyji Maare Seeti'. It is said that Munni aka Mallaika Arora Khan will also be seen in the sequel. She will once again do an item number with her brother-in-law Salman Khan. The music composer Sajid Wajid confirmed that Malaika will reprise her Munni persona, but refused to let out whether it will be in a duet with Salman. Actor Salman Khan will do a song about his character Chulbul Pandey in the film.

After the success of Dabangg, which was released in 2010, everyone has high expectations with the sequel. Actress Kareena Kapoor will also do a special appearance in the movie. Besides Mallika Arora Khan even Kareena Kapoor will have an item number in the movie. Salman Khan has totally rejected the idea of having a remix track for the item number just like the one Kareena had in her movie Don-Yeh Mera Dil.

Arbaaz Khan's sequel of Dabangg, titled Dabangg 2 has been one of the most awaited films of this year. Arbaaz Khan will be making his debut as a director with Dabangg 2 and he is leaving no stone unturned to make Dabangg 2 a grand affair, Arbaaz even booked on entire studio (Kamalistan) in Mumbai for the shoot of Dabangg 2. In the sequel the plot will move away from the UP hinterland into a large city, probably Mumbai. Sonu Sood will play a double role in the sequel. Sood’s character Chedi Singh will now have twin brother.

DABANGG 2 is scheduled to hit the screens during Christmas.

Vidya's Debut Item number - Ferrari Ki Sawaari

Vidya Balan who should thank Milan Luthria for the the image change over from the next door girl to the hi-fi bomb shell that she is known for today. The movie 'Dirty Picture' not only broke the conventions or teased the line between vulgarity and hotness, it has also branded Vidya with a image she will be known for a long time. This time Vidya is ready to do an item number for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's movie 'Ferrari Ki Sawari'.

Vidya is already planning high on this offer and has asked the production crew to test 10 different looks for her glamorous outing. She will be choosing the most glamorous outfit and she has also asked the production crew to give her scratches of the song so that she can prepare for it good time.

A source from the production crew says "As it is, Vidya has undergone a drastic makeover for The Dirty Picture. So the idea is to go further than that. Hence she is insisting that we should collectively exploit as many looks as possible for her song, and go with the one that best suits the song that will be eventually finalised. So 10 different looks are being worked out for her, with inputs from the film's makers and the stylist, apart from the actress herself."

The news is also strong that there was an instant approval by Vidya for the project as she was excited to see the snippets of the movie which starred Sharman Joshi, along with the producers Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani. It is also said that Vidya has also extensively discussed this song with Chopra, Hirani and Mapuskar, who is the director of the movie.

Rajesh Mapuskar later confirmed the entry of Vidya "Yes, we are creatively working out the look. There have been all kinds of item numbers and we want this one to be different."

Soha Ali Khan to do an Item Number?

The news is coming from the sets of Sudhir Mishra's movie 'Tera Kya Hoga Johnny', which stars Soha Ali Khan opposite Abhay Deol. It should be Soha's first item number if the sources are to be believed. A source from the production team reported to us "There is a club dance scene in the movie that is being picturized and it is quite sensuous and is one of the top item numbers that you will see in bollywood".

Soha Ali Khan was glad to reply back to the media "I play a Mumbai model at a nightclub, who after fighting with her boyfriend (Karan Nath), hooks up with Abhay who is also there. I dance with him but it doesn't go further. I lead him on and then go away," she says.

When asked if this was an item number she said "I don't know what an item song is!" she retorts, adding, "The choreographed steps turned out quite sensuous."

We will have to wait for the promos to come out!
