Mahie Gill and Neha Dhupia are so into it!

We are talking about the commitment that these actors take up when they sign for movies. We have been posting examples of leading ladies but it seems that the habit is evident on all successful actresses in the industry. Recently we got to learn about the snippets from Neha Dhupia and Mahie Gill, both making our jaws drop down- may be further!

Mahie Gill who is a renowned for her bold skills and acting talents, when it comes to a character, there is nothing she wont do. Be it her first movie Dev D or the recent one 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster', the actress has been keen on showing off her body for the role and she has been accepting the lip-locks - love making with ease. And now when Tigmanshu Dhulia, decided to make a sequel to 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster', it was certain that no one else could replace Mahie. Now the controversial part - Mahie was drinking a shot of vodka every day for the shoots at 8 a.m. - she had revealed this to a paper recently and the reason for this was again her character who had to be drunk and Mahie being a perfectionist herself did not want to fake the looks!

A source quotes Mahie saying - "At times I used to drink vodka at 8 am and get high on it. Though the weather was so hot in Gujarat, the crew had a ball of a time seeing me drinking and getting high early morning."

Now that is what we call commitment! But don't stop there, listen to the next news!

Neha Dhupia, who is always busy with star shows and dancing is gonna be a highlight and this is again for 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2' - and this is the first time after a long period that audience will see Neha in a sexy avtar and she doesn't want to disappoint them. And what she does? She has been particular about the diet from the day of signing the movie!! You must note that this is for a 5 minute item song!

"She's working harder to look her sexiest best and is also keenly involved in her outfits and styling for it. And next week, she's also likely to meet the choreographer to discuss the her moves in the item number," said our source, adding that the only time the lissome lass got a bit lenient with her diet was on Monday, when she celebrated her 32nd birthday.

Phew! We need something to catch the air!

Neha Dhupia in Kargil

Neha Dhupia is in Kargil and going to spend 10 more days in the company of Jawans. The 31-year-old said, “Independence is very important to me. I’ll be going to Kargil, the Line of Control, and believe it or not, I am going to spend the next 10 days with our army soldiers. It’s going to be very exciting to spend the days there.”

Neha herself belongs to an army background. Her father, Commander Pradip Singh Dhupia, used to serve for the Indian Navy. She studied in Naval Public School and then was transferred to Army Public School, New Delhi.

Dhupia is also involved in the charity work with the Concern India Foundation, an NGO which assists lower income women and children as well as the elderly. She has run in the Mumbai Marathon to support the charity and helped to raise over 5 lakhs. She also helped to raise money for victims of the 2011 Sikkim earthquake. The former Miss India was last seen in the movie Maximum.

Few days back on Kargil Diwas, Bollywood celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Smriti Irani, Vishal Malhotra, Ranvijay Singh showed their respect through Twitter and saluted the Indian soldiers who fought bravely for victory over Pakistan in Kargil 13 years back.

Neha Dhupia's Learning Curve!

Neha Dhupia is finally all set for the promotion of her movie 'Pappu Can't Dance Saala', her next flick with Vinay Pathak. She is happy to have done the four films with the actor and still finds him as an amazing co-star to work with, she feels that it has been a great learning curve for the actress "I've worked with Vinay in four films and it only keeps getting better every time I team up with him. He is a thorough professional and I've learnt a lot from him, on and off screen," says Neha.

Neha who otherwise is considered a sex symbol, in light with her previous movies has opted to do an off beat movie this time "I am not very choosy about my roles. It's just that I do not want to get typecast as a particular character. My job is to entertain and it doesn't matter how I do it," says Neha. Does that mean that she is willing to do something as bold and sensuous as Vidya Balan did in The Dirty Picture? "If the role demands it and I am happy with it, then why not?" she replies.

Neha had stirred up a controversy recently mentioning that 'Sunny Leone' doesn't belong to bollywood and is part of a 'different industry', when TOI asked about this controversy she evaded the question beautifully "First of all, I don't like to be compared to other people. Secondly, I am not comfortable talking about Sunny. It's a touchy subject," she retorts.

Although Neha has had a great set of hits to her bag, she is still evaded from the tag of a superhit actress, when asked about the cause she said "I have been successful as an actor and have hits to my credit. If I am still getting offers in the industry after so many years, it means I have done well. I am absolutely happy with the way my career has shaped up, but I still have a long way to go. I want to try new roles and different characters," says Neha.

Neha, who has also acted in a Telugu movie said that she is extremely comfortable working with South movies as she feels it more professional than bollywood movies!

Pappu Can't Dance Saala - Neha

Neha Dhupia and Vinay Pathak is coming together in the next flick, Pappu can't dance saala, which is the another hilarious comedy from the duo. They have shed magic on the screen in their previous performances, be it the lost romance in 'Dasvidaniya' or be it their serious roles through "Mithya", "Raat Gayi Baat Gayi". This time too, it wont be different, says the actor Vinay Pathak.

"This is one of Neha's best performances from all the films she has done. She has done fabulous job. You will just sit up and notice and watch what she has done in the film. She is wonderful," Vinay said in an interview.

Vinay says his character in "not Pappu, it is Vidyadhar Acharya, who is a native of Varanasi."

"He belongs to Brahmin family and he is a very learned man. And that is what his problem is. He feels he is the most educated and learned man and, therefore, wants everybody to work on his terms." The movie is set to be released on December 16th and narrates the story of a man from Varanasi who comes to Mumbai and finds it difficult to adjust with the culture, which is different from his city which upholds cultural heritage.

The film also features Rajat Kapoor and Naseruddin Shah.

Neha, 31, plays an ambitious girl in the film and said: "The character is very ambitious and brash. She knows what she wants in life. Her thoughts are clear and she knows exactly how to deal with situations. She is very hard and strict and at the same time very gentle, very kind and emotional. There are a lot of sides to her, which are sensitive at the same time very brash."

Neha In Good Company!

Another Affair In The Making!

Shouldn't blame Neha Dhupia if she follows the trend. She had a tough time after the breakup with Squash player and boyfriend to Neha Dhupia, Ritwik Bhattacharya. Although there was less buzz to this breakup but the news faded as quickly as it glowed. She has found a good company to help her work through. The current news is that Neha Dhupia is seeing a Venezuelan guy named James Sylvester or Jimmy!

Although Neha refused to comment on this new affair she did mention that she is in good company. The couple was spotted in the Birthday Party for Shilpa Shetty where the two came in. They were also present at IIFA and this does mention one part of Neha where she doesn't hide her relationships!

She also confirmed that she likes to keep her personal life secret and doesn't like to comment on any part of this. Jimmy is yet to be caught by media people but for now the relationship is strong and running.

The reports mention that Neha came to know Jimmy through a common friend and the relationship blossomed. When reporters were eager to know if there were any wedding bells ringing in the recent future, she commented that at the moment she is busy with her work and she has no time to go with the wedding bell routine!

Gandhi To Hitler sues Anupam Kher!

Anupam Kher Invites trouble

The latest movie to be released on this 29 July, 2011, seems to be hitting news already with their latest claims to file case against Anupam Kher. Anupam Ji was supposedly committed to work in the movie, but later on fans request had backed out of the movie at the last moment. The makers of the film now has sued Anupam Kher for 2.5 crores for not returning the signing amount. This is another fact in Bollywood or another policy to gain advertisement for the movie!



Veteran Actor Anupam Kher had signed to do the role in the latest movie from debutant director Rakesh Ranjan Kumar, 'Gandhi to Hitler' and had received the signing amount as per the makers.

The producer of the film Anil Kumar Sharma, who is releasing the movie under the banner Amrapali Media Vision, claims to have given sum of 4 lakhs to the actor to commit for the movie.

Later the actor did not care to inform the crew and did a press conference that he wont be doing the movie due to continued fans request. The claim by the makers are now confirmed by Nalin Singh, the co-producer for the movie who has supported Anil's claim of 4 lakhs.

Anupam Kher is cool on this and he mentions this as a publicity stunt to gain audience for the movie. The movie touches the sensitive subjects of letter sent from Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi to Adolf Hitler. The role of Hitler is played by Raghubir Yadav and Neha Dhupia will be doing the role of Eva Braun.

Yuvi Scores on Neha!

The Star batsman starting a new innings?

Yuvraj Singh has been a great find for Indian cricket, he has the talent which has helped India to a great extend and he is loved by many. On the other side of his story he has this limelight of stardom which attracts many Hindi movie actresses to his side. 

There has been many affairs of Yuvraj with Deepika Padukone was one of the most discussed and prominent. But he has not ended the trail and still continues his act. The latest has been with Neha Dhupia, the rumor goes in strong that Neha is highly impressed with the cricketer and is being seeing each other quite often. 

Neha Dhupia had recently split up with Squash star Ritwik Bhattacharya, and it is also mentioned that she is still recovering from the split-up. It seems that Neha is still in the groove, recently when Yuvraj tweeted her that 

"Did you Shake your Biscut" inspired with Delhi Belly, she was sporty enough to reply that "Bhag Bhag DK Bose".
