Wedding Bells For Sreesanth In Midst Of Hassles;Marriage To Be Held At Guruvayoor

Things might have gone topsy-turvy for him on the professional front with numerous controversies and cases, but we are happy that Sreesanth has something to look forward to in his personal life.

The cricketer is all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Nain, member of a royal family from Rajasthan, on December 12.

A source close to the cricketer says, "Nain is a jewellery designer and she met Sree during a match in Rajasthan about seven years ago. The IPL issues have not affected their relationship and she has been a great support to him all the while."

Apparently, the families had initially planned to hold the wedding after a year, but they later decided not to delay it as they felt it would be good for the cricketer. "He has been prepared for it. Moreover, he needs a change," the source adds.

The wedding will take place at Guruvayur temple in traditional Kerala style, followed by a reception in Kochi in true Rajasthani style, complete with a baraat. The couple is planning to settle down in Kerala post the wedding.

As far as his career is concerned, Sree is waiting to take the next step after the case is closed, the source says.

Mumbai Indians Crowned With CLT20 2013 Cup

The Mumbai Indians had the match in their hand as soon as the first innings had completed. Thanks to the efforts from Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell, the team had a faster go at the 203 target for the Rajasthan Royals. The team looked strong when it came to batting and it was the slow but steady partner ship between Dwayne Smith and Sachin Tendulkar that started off the proceedings. In response to the score, only the second order of Rajasthan Royals showed resistance.

The proceedings on Mumbai Indians started with a slower Dwayne Smith 44(39 balls, 5 4's, 1 six) and a quick 15(13 balls, 3 4's) by Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin was the first to depart, and was clean bowled out by S. Watson. Followed by Ambatti Rayadu 29(24 balls, 4 4's). He was joined by Rohit Sharma, when D. Smith was bowled out Pravin Tambe. Rohit made 33 in 14 balls which included 3 4's and 2 6's. The Mumbai innings was also boosted by a short lived 10 by Pollard (1 six 1 four) and Glenn Maxwell's 39 from 14 balls which included 4 fours and 2 sixes.

In counter attack the first wicket of Rajasthan Royals went in vain as Kushal Parera made out for a run which wasn't there. The second wicket partnership of RR was the one that made Mumbai sweat a bit as young Sanju Samson and Ajinkya Rahane managed to get a partnership worth 109 runs in 67 balls. Sanju was the highlight as he was aggressive on Harbhajan Singh and Nathan Coulter-Nile. Sanju made 60 of 33 balls which included 4 fours and 4 sixes. He was dropped earlier in the innings for which Harbhajan and Smith went on to get confused to whether who will pick the catch.

Anjinkya Rahane scored a 65 from 47 balls which included 2 sixes and 5 fours. The innings of Rahane was classic but he was missing a strong partner in the opposite end to help him carry out further. The short lived 8 of Shane Watson with a six included was positive but was soon sent out by Harbhajan. Harbhajan was also the lead of the wicket takers for Mumbai getting in 4/32 Runs.

Rahul Dravid was also on the unfortunate side of fate as he was sent out first ball bowled by Coulter-Nile.

Finally letting down the side with a score of 169/10 in 18.5 overs, helping MI to take away the Champions League Twenty20.

It was a historic match as the icons of Indian Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid had met for their final encounter, since Tendulkar has already declared to retire from Twenty20 matches. Also it watched the young talent Sanju Samson take on bowlers in style.

Rajasthan Royals Makes It Way to Semi Finals : CLT20

Rajasthan Royals will have to thank the young talent Sanju Samson and Ajinkya Rahane to the wonderful win that they managed to attain after a clear loss by the prime order batsmen. Rahul Dravid was humble to thank the youngsters and their professionalism which, as per his words was a clinical finish to the proceedings.

With this win, Rajasthan Royals manage to reach the semi finals of Champions League Twenty20. "It's nice to win and play well. It was a really good and clinical performance today. We can always improve and we can keep getting better, we also take a lot of satisfaction from the match today," said Dravid after the match.

"Our bowlers pulled it back brilliantly today, like Jimmy, Coops and a lot of professionalism from Samson and Rahane who batted very well," Dravid said.

"Our next game is a big one and Otago is playing very good cricket, they are the team in form."

Ajinkya Rahane, who was the top-scorer for Rajasthan, said: "It was a really nice pitch, good for bowlers and batsmen. This wicket was not fast compared to what we played against Mumbai Indians but the ball was doing a bit and holding its line.

"It was slightly tough initially but was easier later to bat on. I enjoy batting with Sanju, we were just talking about positive cricket while batting. We just need to concentrate on the next game and stay positive."

Kevon Cooper, who laid the foundation for the win with a four-wicket haul to help his team bundle out the Scorchers for 120, said: "I'm happy to come out here and bowl well and give my team a chance of winning.

"The yorker is something I practiced a lot, it's very important in this format. It's great to play with players like Dravid, Watson and we sit and plan every game with the support staff. We wanted to play good cricket here and happy to do that," he added.

After suffering their third loss in as many matches, Perth skipper Simon Katich said they were around 60 runs short and their bowlers too failed to contain the run.

"We are learning the hard way, we didn't get many partnerships going and were about 50-60 short there. Our bowlers tried their best but nothing worked. We presented four caps the other day and that in itself is tough.

"Hopefully we'll get a fair bit of this before the Big Bash. We've seen how big the standard is here form the Big Bash and it's a different ball game. We're gonna have to try harder in the next few days," he added.

10 to 15 Year Ban For Sreesanth And Co-Players Suggests BCCI Committee

The two-member disciplinary committee of the BCCI will meet in New Delhi on Friday to decide the fate of the Rajasthan Royals cricketers implicated in the IPL spot-fixing scandal.

The panel, comprising boa-rd vice-presidents Niranjan Shah and Arun Jaitley, have asked S Sreesanth and Ankeet Chavan as well as prosecution witnesses Harmeet Singh and Siddharth Trivedi to be present at the ITC Maurya at 11 am.

Ajit Chandila, who is out on bail, will be interrogated at a later date.

Even though reports suggest that Sreesanth and Chavan are likely to be handed life bans for their role in the scandal, a senior BCCI functionary told dna that the panel may “buy time before announcing its decision”.

“It’s an open and shut case, but what if these players are proved innocent in a court of law? The BCCI will be a fix then. So there is no hurry. Let’s wait for the police to file its chargesheet,” the official said.

And in any case, the disciplinary panel will first deliberate on the report submitted by Ravi Sawani, who heads the BCCI’s Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU). After examining the report, Shah and Jaitley will present their findings at the BCCI Annual General Meeting to be held on September 29.

Another top BCCI official confirmed that ‘president-in-exile’ N Srinivasan will not be present at the hearing. “He is very much part of the disciplinary committee, but he won’t be here on Friday,” the official said.

Daddy to be Raj Kundra gets tips from SRK

Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shetty who got married to a London-based businessman Raj Kundra in Nov 2009 is expecting her first child in May, 2012.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra is all set to enter the group of Bollywood's hot mummies by next month.

Actor Shah Rukh Khan has been giving daddy to be Raj Kundra and mommy to be Shilpa Shetty Kundra advice on parenting at every stage.

It is said that King Khan is quite concerned about Shilpa’s health ever since she got pregnant. Every time he met Raj he would ask about Shilpa's health. Recently Shahrukh met Shilpa's husband Raj Kundra at one of the IPL matches and gave him detailed advice about how to take care of both the mommy and baby as fatherhood is quite challenging.

Shilpa Shetty is expected to give birth to her baby in end of May on the Indian Premiere League (IPL) finals. Their team Rajasthan Royals is playing well so far and they wish to conquer the trophy which they will present to their proud owner’s baby.

Shilpa who was spotted with her baby bump during the unveiling of her IPL team’s jersey with husband Raj Kundra wanted to attend the Indian Premiere League, she even had her XXL sized jersey ready but she couldn't make it.

It is even said that, Shilpa Shetty's sister Shamita Shetty has already designed a room with neutral colours as the family is unaware of sex of the unborn baby.

Pregnant Shilpa Shetty looking foward to cheer Rajasthan Royals !!!

Actress Shilpa Shetty who got married to a London-based businessman Raj Kundra in Nov 2009 is expecting her first child in May, 2012.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra the co-owner of Rajastan Royals is looking forward to cheer her team Rajasthan Royals in the fifth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Shilpa was spotted with her baby bump during the unveiling of her IPL team’s jersey with husband Raj Kundra.

At the unveiling of her IPL team's new jersey Shilpa said, "I would cheer and pray like every time. Enthusiasm and excitement keeps increasing every year. But again it depends upon on my doctor ..... Nearer the time, I'll be able to decide. I can't wait for the (April-May) season to begin. I really hope my doctor gives me permission. My XXL size jersey is also coming, so I am fully prepared."

Royals’ new captain Rahul Dravid and other team members Sreesanth and Shaun Tait wore the jersey at the function with its main sponsor's logo on the T-shirt. Shilpa said she and other co-owners of Rajasthan Royals were extremely happy that Aditya Birla Group has come on board as the team’s main sponsor.

She even thinks that cricket and entertainment go hand-in-hand. She said, "It has been working for the last four editions and I think it (cricket and entertainment) is a deadly combo. I don't need to reiterate how entertainment really works with making the whole cricketing format suitable in terms of reducing the overs... Some people are against it but those who enjoy IPL are proof enough that it works."
