Priyanka Chopra ready to release her music album

Priyanka Chopra is all set to wow her fans with her husky voice. Very soon her debut single ‘In My City’ will be released under the Universal label.

Recently the cover of the music album was released which costs 75 Rs only. Her album will feature Black Eyed Peas’ famous rapper Will.I.AM.  Piggy Chops tweeted, “For your eyes only…my single cover! Say whaaaaa?”
She will release the album in North America with Desi Hits through Interscope Records and in other international markets on Britain’s Island Records.

“I am truly excited to have an opportunity to present my musical dimension on a world platform…This is a fascinating new experience for me and I am thoroughly enjoying the journey,” said the actress whose music album release will coincide with her movie release Barfi.

Atom Factory CEO Troy Carter, who also manages international pop star Lady Gaga’s career, has signed with Priyanka to manage her music career across the globe.

“We believe wholeheartedly in Priyanka’s talent, drive and creative vision. We are confident in her ability to redefine pop music on her own terms,” said Atom Factory executive vice president and general manager Anthony Saleh.

“Bollywood has had Priyanka to itself for too long. She has exceptional talent and we look forward to launching her recording career around the world,” said Universal Music Group chief executive David Joseph. Well we all are excited to listen to your songs PC!

The Murphy - Barfi Connection - Legal Issues

Murphy is the name of the character played by Ranbir Kapoor in the movie Barfi! Now the makers never thought that this should be the point of a controversy but it has emerged as one. The Murphy Radio company, a British Origin has sent out a legal notice to the makers for using the company name and logo without consent. The legal notice asks for a private screening to the representatives to ensure that the Murphy Radio is not shown in bad lights.

If you had noticed the title song, 'Ala Barfi' there is clear mention of Murphy Radio and how it is connected to the character. As per the notice, the movie is taking the credit of Murphy Radio's acceptance to promote the movie. The company also wants the producers to mute the 'Murphy' word in the song as well.

Responding to the issue, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, the producer of the movie mentioned that the 'Murphy Radio Company' has been shown in the positive light, "It is true we have received a notice from them. We are quite clear that we have done nothing wrong," Mr Kapur, managing director Disney UTV, told IANS.

"The brand has been presented in a very positive light and we will be responding to the notice," he added.

Kapur was in Gurgaon along with Barfi! starcast Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz to promote the film, which releases on Friday.

The movie revolves around the characters of Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Illeana D'Cruz, the story is still wrapped around but definitely sounds like a triangle. The movie is getting released tomorrow and there is already great expectations for the movie, but we still wonder how the legal hurdle for the movie will be tackled.

Priyanka rushes to her ailing father

The ‘Fashion’ star who is said to be her dad’s adorable girl rushed to her father’s side when she came to know that his health got deteriorated.

The bolly babe immediately left Barfi! party when she was informed about her dad's ill health. Priyanka will be soon seen in light hearted comedy film ‘Barfi!’ with Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D’cruz. The promos of the movie which got released recently got good response from its audiences.

Therefore to celebrate this good news the Barfi! team planned to party at a suburban hotspot where the lead actors were supposed to be present. Priyanka had already reached at the venue but soon went missing. After many calls from the crew members it was learnt that her father had fallen sick again and she had to rush home to be at his side and take care of him.

It is known that Piggy Chop’s dad has been battling from Cancer from past few years and undergoing regular treatment for the same. Like a doting daughter Priyanka takes good care of her daddy dearest so that he gets best of the treatment to recover as soon as possible.
Recently she also got a tattoo on her hand ‘Daddy’s little girl’ conveying her love for her father.
We all hope Papa Chopra gets well soon.
