SRK to promote Chennai Express during IPL

According to the latest reports, King Khan is set to promote his upcoming movie Chennai Express in the next season of IPL.

SRK is well known for his aggressive marketing style. No one can ever forget the rigorous promotions of Shahrukh’s Ra.One which started almost 4-5 months before the movie’s actual release. This time around the Superstar has planned to promote his film Chennai Express during the opening event of IPL season 6 by a performance.

After the success of Bol Bachchan, Rohit Shetty is all set to start his shooting with the Baadshah of Bollywood for his movie Chennai Express. Reports say that King Khan is planning to market the movie’s name on railway cups and trays since the story of the movie revolves around a train.

Chennai Express will be a hard core commercial film with a romantic angle starring Shahrukh Khan & his Om Shanti Om co-star Deepika Padukone. The story is about a man travelling from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and his experiences during the journey. There is a lot of romance keeping Shah Rukh Khan in mind but it will also be a typical Rohit Shetty film like the cars blowing and other lot of action.

Buzz was that the Golmaal filmmaker was previously supposed to do a remake of Gulzaar’s Angoor, but kept the project at the backburner since he realised getting dates from SRK is a big task! Apparently there were also rumors about a fall-out between Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgan as the Singham star was upset of not being part of good friend, Rohit's next flick. But later both rubbished such gossips.

Will SRK and Rohit's jodi be a SuperHit?  Will the King Khan's marketing tactics work this time? Time will only tell...

The Indian version of American reality show “Big Brother” is coming up with its sixth season. And the expected names oof the contestants for the sixth season of Bigg Boss include Poonam Pandey, Shobha De, Mika Singh, Chunky Pandey, Faisal Khan, Sangram Singh, Sayali Bhagat and Kim Kardashian.

Poonam Pandey: Yes you heard it right, Poonam Pandey will be seen in the sixth season of Bigg Boss. She someone who just does not need an introduction.

Faisal Khan: Mr. Perfectionist's brother. Someone who never got a proper chance in Bollywood and could not get as famous as his elder brother Aamir Khan.

TP Sudhindra, Shalabh Srivastava, Mohnish Mishra, Amit Yadav and Abhinav Bali all of them are banned cricketers of Indian Permier League (IPL) season 5, they will not be seen in the sixth season og Bigg Boss.

Shobhaa De, Mika Singh and Swami Nityanand : A show can’t run only on fun and clean entertainment. It needs that extra spice of controversy. Who can be better than them at this job?

Chunky Pandey: The show will be the perfect opportunity for him to let us know and entertain us with the inside story of the fight at Wankhede stadium.

Sayali Bhagat: She is an Indian actress and former beauty queen. She competed in Femina Miss India 2004 and won the title of Femina Miss India World. After five years in Bollywood, she is yet to make her mark.

Kim Kardashian: Kim is an American socialite, television personality, model, actress and businesswoman. She is known for starring in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the E! reality series that she shares with her family, and its spin-offs including Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Sangram Singh: He is a wrestler and wrestling coach from India. He was a Gold Medallist in the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship held in South Africa. He was a participant of reality television series, Survivor India (season 1) (2012) where he became the 16th person to get voted out and finished as the 3rd Jury member. Previously he appeared in 100% De Dhana Dhan.

The creator of the show says that the sixth season of the celebrity reality show would be absolutely clean instead of feeding negative vibes to the viewers. Bigg Boss is famous for controversies and big fights among its celebrity guests. The format of the most controversial reality show on television has been changed and according to the new format the contestants won’t be bitchy and aggressive. The new format seems boring for fans who want to see catfights and controversial stories among celebrities.

Film maker Mahesh Bhatt said that, “What’s Bigg Boss without controversies and fights? Maybe they’re toning it down to conform to the large conservative market, but in the process, they’ll lose there distinctive feature. And, when that happens, you can only expect doom.”

Bigg Boss without fights and controversies we wonder how its going to be !!!

Salman to host Big Boss 6

The fifth season of Bigg Boss was hosted by Salman Khan and his friend Sanjay Dutt in which Salman made limited appearances giving more opportunity for Sanjay Dutt to make his mark on TV. Previously it was even said that Salman Khan wanted his friend Sanjay to take charge as the host of the show, so this year Sanjay Dutt was supposed to take over as the full-time host.

There are many other reasons too as to why it was said that Salman Khan won't be seen in the show, the main reason being his recurring jaw pain, he also has a number of projects to complete this year.

But it seems as if Salam Khan has taken out time from his busy schedule to host Bigg Boss season six and that too without Sanjay Dutt.

A source said that, "Even though Salman is presently shooting in Thailand for a film with Katrina Kaif, the makers have already sounded him about being part of the new season as well. He has agreed to host it. He alone will be the host for the sixth season."

The source added, "The dance reality show which has Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo Fernandes as judges will go on air first followed by a talent hunt show. Only then will Bigg Boss air."

The reality show that will go on air by the end of 2012.
