Salman's Hollywood action : Katrina's worry

Salman Khan's action is something which makes him stand out of the crowd of Khan's. The actor has a peculiar way of carrying out his action sequences and his fans adore him when he is doing action. But the recent turn of events makes him have more trouble with doing action sequences as he is restricted from doing stunts by the doctors (news here)

Now it has become mandatory for the actor to undergo the surgery if he wants to continue with the action sequences. The whole crew is concerned about Salman's health and is taking extreme care. Salman Khan who is currently filming 'Dabaang 2' has plans to get the surgery done before next schedule.

It seems Katrina is equally caring about his health as his family is, it is said that Kats have scheduled her shooting dates such that she has time to be with Salman during and post his surgery. "Katrina madam has her schedules adjusted and it seems she will move with Salman to US during his surgery schedule" says an insider.

Salman and Katrina is currently busy with the promotions of 'Ek Tha Tiger' which is scheduled to be released on August 15th. It has been fun rounds for the two as the movie promotions has helped them to come closer to each other and it was seen that they were pulling legs of each other. But this time around, it was mostly Salman Khan doing the pulling in a rather more friendly gesture (news here)

Ek Tha Tiger's Hollywood connection

Unlike other movies, the stunts of  'Ek Tha Tiger' is more clean and more robust. Thanks to the stunt director  Conrad Palmisano, who is again from Hollywood. He is the x-factor responsible for the stunning stunts that we see in the promos of Ek Tha Tiger (latest promo here)

Talking about the action part of the film, Salman had earlier stated, "I have worked very hard for the action part of this film. The visual and choreography has come out really well. Unlike other action films, Ek Tha Tiger doesn't have senseless, illogical action."

Dabaang 2 : Meetings & Decisions - behind closed doors

Dabaang 2 is a special project for the Khan brothers as it will mark the debut of the actor-turned producer-director, Arbaaz Khan. But when the recent fire mishap(click here for detailed report) happened at the sets, this really shocked the crew and it is said that Arbaaz was quick to call off the shoot for Sunday. He also is calling up the production crew to report back to him to learn what went wrong with the sequence. The rumors are that the Khan's are also doing the meetings and all is done behind closed doors. 

"Salman bhai was shocked that something like this could have happened for a film of his. Thankfully all three injured men survived but things could have gone worse. Arbaaz bhai (who is doubling up as a producer and a director) immediately cancelled the Sunday shoot though he instructed his production team to report for work. The agenda was not just to find out how the incident had occurred but also identify measures to be taken so that none of that is repeated." says a source at the sets. 

It is said that Salman Khan is also getting involved in the meetings as he never likes his crew members getting hurt. "Those in charge of action, sets and power supply have been asked to adhere to the guidelines. Both brothers are mighty upset with the incident. They were also fully aware that rest of the crew wouldn't have been in a good frame of mind to continue shooting on the very next day and hence cancelled the Sunday shoot. However work resumed on Monday, though with a far stricter check. It is business as usual now but both Arbaaz and Salman would be keeping a close eye on how the days progress" adds the source.

Arbaaz later reported back to the media "All of them are out of danger. In fact two of them would be discharged soon while the third would take four-five weeks to recuperate. However good care is being taken of him. We are sad and disappointed that this happened on our sets. We had an all-heads meeting on Sunday and there are a list of do's and don'ts shared all over again. Such mishaps are unacceptable and we are taking extra measures to ensure there is no repeat."

Salman Khan still does stunts!

Salman, who is suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia - a neuropathic disorder, was earlier advised by the medical crew that he shouldn't be doing stunt scenes(click here for the report). But it seems that it is not been followed by the actor who was recently seen shooting stunt scenes for Dabaang 2. It is said that the crew is taking extreme care on the stunts that are performed by Salman. Especially his safety lines have been hiked following the mishap at the Mehboob studios.

Eesha Koppikhar doing double!

Eesha Koppikhar had announced her entry into production house, she is now coming back with her much anticipated project, the sequel to Shabri, a cult movie. Although Eesha is disappointed with the low promotions of the movie Shabri and the bad marketting strategy for the movie. She expected this to be a potential trend setter and now when she is in the production team she is not leaving any chances.

The news is that she is having close discussions with the director of the movie Lalit Marathe and discussing creative ideas for the upcoming movie. It was the Lalit's suggestion that for Shabri 2, Eesha should essay double role. It is said that the turning point in the film required Eesha to do a double appearance to make the film in moving state. Eesha seems to be extremely excited with the idea and is said to have readily accepted it.

Eesha is always known for the variety she chooses in her roles as she had done in the movie Kya Kool Hai Hum, Darling and Don. She has always pushed her limits and this time it will be another test for her. She will also have a grey shade in the movie like she had done in the movie Krishna Cottage or Qayamat.

Eesha will be joining the team as soon as she finishes her reality show. The film is said to roll by mid of next year and Eesha will be preparing for the movie from December. She has decided to make Shabri Bollywood's first hardcore female gangster and hence will be performing stunts in the films sequel as well.
