Galaxy Gears Will Support All Major Indian Languages


NEW DELHI: Samsung has announced that its newly launched smartwatch Galaxy Gear would be supporting all the major Indian languages. This comes as a major announcement to attract the Indian market, which is the fastest growing in the world for smartphones, into taking active interest inthe new smartwatch and boost its sales in the country.


The South Korean company's thinktank head and director of research at Samsung Research America, Pranav Mistry has tweeted that the Galaxy Gear would be supporting Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, Punjabi and other major Indian languages. However, the exact number of Indian languages that the smartwatch would be supporting is not known so far.

Announced along with the Samsung Galaxy Note III at IFA in Berlin, the Galaxy Gear would be acting as a companion device for a select devices from Samsung's stables. Currently, Note 3 and Note 10.1 2014 Edition are supported by the devices, but Samsung plans to add Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S III in this list soon.

The smartwatch would be giving incoming notifications such as calls, texts, emails and alerts, delivers a preview of those messages and it would also be able to receive calls as it is equipped with a speaker and a microphone; it also comes with a 1.9MP camera. Samsung has also stated that users will also be able to install applications of Galaxy Gear and around 70 apps like Evernote and Pocket are available with the device.

Samsung recently announced that its Galaxy range of phones with support 9 Indian languages, from the base model Galaxy Star to the top-end Galaxy S4.

Common among writers, it is the state when a person or a group identifies an author under a different name. It just doesn't stop at writers, but it is usually literature that brings in pseudonym.
Its also common in political writing, blogs, internet and website forums. These are usually to hide their identity and remain anonymous. This may also include a safer way to escape the legal issues.

Usage:
- I did a lot of pseudonymous writing during this period...
- Unless Olliver was playing a doubly pseudonomous game, the cipher was no good.

Yami Gautam wishes to work in an English movie

Yami Gautam got many accolades for her performance in the Industry after she made her debut in Bollywood with Vicky Donor opposite Ayushman Khurana. But not many know that she is an expert when it comes to different languages.

She made her debut on Television with Chand Ke Paar Chalo but became a well known face in every household after her role as Leher Mathur Vajpayee in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam which was aired on Colors. Along with T.V serials she was also seen in reality shows like NDTV Imagine’s Meethi Choori No. 1. She is also seen in many TV commercials.

She made her film debut in Kannada industry with her film Ullasa Utsaha. Along with Kannada she has also acted in Telgu (Nuvvila), Punjabi (Ek Noor) and Malayalam (Hero) films. So her versatility with languages is really commendable.

Now according to some sources Yami is wishing to work in an English language film and sees it as her next challenge.

Yami says,”Acting is my passion; I don’t want languages to be a barrier for me. Having worked in so many different languages, I want my next to be an English movie.”

She is currently filming her first tamil film Gouravam.
