When Katrina Kaif cried on Salman’s shoulder...

After the screening of Ek Tha Tiger at YRF studio Katrina broke down into tears. The reason: She had a vermillion on her forehead and media went crazy on seeing the same.

Speculations about her secret wedding were made.

But it was later revealed that the vermilion was nothing but a red tikka that Katrina’s business manager’s mother had applied on the actress’ forehead. Since the tikka was applied near her hair parting, the paparazzi misunderstood it as a sindoor.

"It is a ritual Katrina has observed over the years," said a source close to the actress.

The news spread everywhere and Katrina was surrounded by paparazzi. Unable to handle such craziness Katrina started crying on Salman’s shoulder giving one more chance to the media to add fodder to their gossips.

The actress was reported saying, "Why do they do this to me? Am I that kind of girl?!" she reportedly wailed. The actress made sure that the pics and videos are not circulated in the media.

Salman Khan reportedly consoled the actress and told her to learn from his life. After all he has had to face the media's fury more than many of the actors in the industry today.

Meanwhile their film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is making fresh records with each passing day!  The film which has garnered about Rs.59 crore at the box office in 3 days holds the highest ever first weekend collections record in Indian history. Ek Tha Tiger's collections were 37.5 per cent higher on the first day than the existing record of Hrithik Roshan's Agneepath set earlier this year, which clocked Rs 24 crore.

Ranbir and Katrina caught together!

The two actors who once were believed to be seeing each other have again sparkled rumours about their relationship! If sources are true then the Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahaani co-stars have reunited and started dating.

Although both have never confessed about their relationship status towards media recent incidences have made us wonder if something is brewing between the two!

The story goes back to last Saturday night when Ranbir was invited at a private screening of the sequel to Gangs of Wasseypur which was conducted at Ketnav studio in Bandra.

He was accompanied with writer – director friend Imtiaz Ali, Anushka Sharma and his Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani co-star and ex-flame Deepika Padukone.

Well folks, nothing happened between the two ex-lovers. They just shared a warm, friendly hug with each other, watched the movie and left to their respective homes!

Ranbir reached his home at Krishna Raj, Pali Hill around 1:30 a.m. Minutes after his arrival, Katrina Kaif landed at Ranbir Kapoor’s home in her Audi and parked inside Krishna Raj’s gate. Instantly the Chikni Chameli came out and slipped inside the house and her driver drove back the vehicle to Katrina’s residence at Guldev Sagar.

In 2009, Ranbir was rumored to be dating Bollywood’s hot queen, Katrina Kaif, after his very public split with the long-legged Deepika Padukone.  The two bonded very well and said to be hooked up during the shooting of their film Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahaani.  But this Kahaani was not that Ajab and Gajab for them and soon both parted ways.  Ranbir then was said to have moved on with his ‘Rockstar’ co-star Nargis Fakhri. They were spotted watching the movie ‘Black Swan’ in a multiplex in Juhu. Ranbir, who was quite open about his then relationship with Deepika, learnt the lesson of keeping mum after things turned ugly and his cheating allegations made headlines. He was tagged as the Casanova of Bollywood. Since then, he learnt his lesson and has been quite discreet about the girls in his life.

Katrina on the other side was said to be in relationship with Bollywood’s Bhai Salman Khan. Both shared good chemistry until news about Katrina’s alleged affair with Ranbir came to surface. Reports also said that Khan and his muse have gone their separate ways but both of them never commented anything about their personal life publicly. After seeing the promos of their upcoming flick ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ people thought that everything is back to normal now. But the latest gossip about Kat-Ranbir makes us think what’s cooking Katy?

One Rupee story : Salman Khan Vs Shahrukh Khan

The rivalry between the two khans is not a hidden affair, but this has reached the extremes when the latest reports have arrived. It says that Salman Khan has asked for a rupee more than what Yash Raj Films is to offer Shah Rukh Khan! It may sound silly but that is how high the ego clashes between the actors are.

Both Khans are currently performing ventures with the legendary Yash Raj Films, Ek Tha Tiger, directed by Kabir Khan, starring Salman has already finished the schedule and is ready when the latest controversy arose. The news came in with Shah Rukh Khan acting in YRF productions, which is being directed by Yash Chopra himself. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif along with SRK. 

A source says "Salman Khan had a discussion with Aditya Chopra on the signing amount of his movie and had insisted on receiving a rupee more than what Yashji will be paying Shah Rukh for his movie. But Aditya Chopra did explain that the amount is mainly on the profit of the movie when it gets released and it is tough to define whose movie will fare well at boxoffice". Also the source adds that "Aditya Ji did convince Salman that he will be giving a fare share to the actor".

Salman Khan who had done wonders last year at the box office is strong among the Khans for this period and both SRK and Salman Khan has given 100crore plus hits last year. So it will be a dilemma for the producers who do sign them as to what they give in as remuneration. It is said that both actors take in a fixed amount of 15 crore as signing amount and the rest is being worked out on the movie profits. 

Salman on Aamir too?

Salman Khan has not just limited the talks about his cut in movies, to just SRK, he has been also found enquiring about the signing amount that the production house gave to Aamir Khan for Dhoom 3. It seems that Salman Khan is quite careful about what they sign him up for. 

YRF who has been known for not going by the market rates of the stars and who has been famous for not giving the actors the same amount as their market prices seems to be thinking otherwise with their new projects. They seems to understand the competition and is giving a fair amount to every actor based on their market price. 

The Rupee 1 history


The rupee one ego did not start just with Salman and Shah Rukh. It is said that during the shooting days of Amar Akbar Antony, the rivalry between Vinod Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan was at peak. They had argued on the amount and finally it was Amitabh Bachchan who went out with the higher pay.

The same issue happened with Kishore Kumar who had been charging Rs 15000 then and had raised his amount close to Lata Mangeshkar, but always charged 1 rupee less than her as a mark of respect!

Kats Dedicate it To Salman!

The much talked about item number for Salman Khan's upcoming movie 'Bodyguard' has already been making news in the industry, be it the costume in use or be it the relationship gossips. There has been always a controversy when Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are together. The latest news is that Katrina refused any pay for her upcoming Cameo in Bodyguard.

Atul Agnihotri is all words when it came to the question, he said that Kats is like family to Khan and she is never an outsider to be paid up for her job. The reactions from Kats is also promising who feels quite comfortable in the family and feels to do anything for them. Katrina and Salman are looked up as best friends and they have been seen helping each other in ransom.  Ofcourse this is not the first time Kats did anything for free, if we remember, she had made special appearance in Salman's movie 'Hello' where she did that for free!

The chemistry is certainly building up and we will love to see the duo back in a relationship, also not to forget how Salman Khan had helped her during the early stages of career, Katrina really understands how supportive Sallu was to her and helped her jump the hurdle. For this fact too she feels to have done anything for Salman!

Salman Khan Matures!

Salman Doing a Change Over

The brand Salman Khan is usually associated with short temper, the hot pursuit and the ever action machine. This was the Sallu which was prominent for few years, be it his personal life or the legal issues that he ran into. The image was tough to match, with his Khan war and fights with media, there was a deep hole in which Sallu had driven himself into. Now the change is in the air, he has changed as person and matured as an actor. 

The result of his change does reflect in his movies as we can learn where he finds himself doing all the stunts and gaining success like dream. Further he is now concentrating more on his foundation 'Being Human' which has been doing a lot of good deeds which cannot be covered or matched to any personality in the Industry.

Before this event Salman's career has been seeing lots of ups and downs. The alleged problem he had was that he used to do movies of his friends without looking into the script, the recent change in his attitude has given him a consistent record. Since Dabaang the star is at a rise and is continuing his growth and is one of the most demanded persons in the industry!

The change is evident on his relationships too, earlier the Salman Khan who will declare a war against his ex-girlfriends have changed dramatically. Now we have seen a breakup and make-up with Katrina Kaif, who was with Salman for a long time before they broke but he handled the situation quite beautifully to give Kats a good opportunity to bind back. He has also eased up his responses to the media too!

Salman surely shows the signs of great and mature actor and we just love the flow as it is!
