Katrina & Shahid in Imtiaz Ali's next

Imtiaz Ali's production company, PI films, have offered Katrina the lead in their debut production.

PI films is headed by Imtiaz Ali's wife Preeti. The movie will be a remake of a Korean movie which was released in the year 2009 "My Girlfriend is an Agent".

My Girlfriend is an Agent is a romantic action comedy film directed by Shin Tae-Ra and starring Kim Ha-Neul and Kang Ji-hwan.

The movie will be called 22 Tango. The film will be directed by choreographer Bosco of the Bosco-Caesar fame.

Imtiaz said, "There were talks of approaching Kat. However, I am not sure what is happening on that front currently."

It is even said that Shahid Kapoor has been approached to play the male lead in the movie. Shahid Kapoor has worked with Imtiaz Ali in Jab we met.

A source said that, "Imtiaz was very happy with Shahid's work in Jab We Met. Bebo and he got a lot of taalis in the film. Shahid's role won many accolades. It wasn't an easy role but he did it with so much conviction. Ever since, Imtiaz has wanted to work with Shahid. Preeti too loved his acting in the film." Shahid is reportedly keen to work on the project and terms are being negotiated.

So there are chances that Shahid Kapoor and Katrina who have never been paired onscreen, soon will be seen together.

Murder3 in the making!

The Sequel Mania continues!

In the era of sequels we just can wait for more to come. The outrageous success of Murder 2 has been staggering the Bhatt camp. They are already on the work for the next sequel murder3. The team is to throw success party on this friday. 

Speaking to the media, Mahesh Bhatt mentioned that the movies success has already made the crew in the thinking caps and is plotting the Murder 3 which is due to be released on Summer of 2012. The crew is continuing to go along with the same her Emraan Harshmi, as he still works as the lucky charm for Bhatt camp. The movie is all set to be directed by Mohit Suri again and the story will be written by the same author, Shagufta Rafique. Both the writer and director has been adviced to bring up a realistic script. The prequels discussed the story of a unfaithful wife and the later about love. We hope the third brings in equal suspense.

Mahesh Bhatt failed to comment on the star crew, although confirmed the addition of Emraan Harshmi. The first part of Murder was portrayed with the highly explosive looks of Mallika Sherawat, the current version of the movie Murder 2 portrays the new comer Jacqueline Fernadez. The intimate scenes in the movie are still in demand. 

When asked about the plagiarism on the movies, as there is a talk that the movie is inspired from a Korean movie and includes the same sequences, Mahesh Bhatt defended the crew by mentioning that this is a original script and the similarities are mere coincidence. He also mentioned that his first movie Murder was suspected to be a copy of the famous Hollywood Movie Unfaithful, which he denies and mentions that the story more inclined to B.R Chopra's Gumrah, a classic flick. As for the Korean movie, he has not yet seen the movie and did not think that there was any inspirations drawn from the movie. He also mentioned that the situations might be common on two movies, those situations may not be compromised. And added that the current claim is similar to mentioning that Ghajini is a remake of Italian Movie Momento!

  

Murder2 is mentioned to be the greatest hit in the year 2011.
