Salman Khan: Explains why he is away from hollywood

The Indo-American Chamber Of Commerce celebrated the Independence day celebration of America here in Mumbai on July 4th and it was made special with the presence of an unusual bollywood celebrity, Salman Khan, who is not known for being present in such venues.

Salman Khan was dressed in a grey suit with no tie and looked simple and humble. Actress Nargis was also present alongside Salman Khan for the event and he was in his good humor at the ceremony.

Salman Khan, who has always shy'ed away from the Hollywood flicks, although he has been ranked as the 7th best good looking men around the world, he thought this was the perfect ceremony to announce the reason for why he does it and he says ""Me, I am giving Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, all these guys a chance," said Salman. He went on to say that these actors make wonderful movies, and make anything look good!"

There was a slight hint that our movies did take the actions to a higher level and sometimes tend to overdo it!


Salman was at his bindas best when he did the unthinkable saying: "I saw a film recently and I thought it was like an amazing movie. My name is actually Khan and actually I am not a terrorist, I am an actor."

By this, not only did Salman acknowledge SRK's film My Name is Khan, but he even recited SRK's famous dialogue. We pray that this is the sign for their friendship to be alive once again!

On a serious note he also added the concern on why his friends weren't even coming back from America, once they get there! "All my friends who have gone to America, they don't even want to come back for a holiday, wonder why. I am an actor, those guys were the 'sensible' ones, educated – engineers, doctors, scientists. These guys went there and made a lot of money, respect."

There are many fans with us when we say that we wont leave Salman Khan to flee to Hollywood as we still need the muscle hunk in bollwood who can just fight a 100 people with bare hands!

Celebrating Indian Independence!

Happy Independence Day

The Indian Republic, which has diversity to define its uniqueness. We are proud to be hailing from a country which has 1.2 Billion people singing the national Anthem for the country, the country which has the vast heritage to hold the first of civilizations the world has discovered. The country which has biodiversity like none other, starting from the cold Himalaya's to the hottest beach of Kanyakumari, the country which has the third largest army in the world and the country who has been self dependent to a great extend!

The country which contributes 38% to its population of professionals to the world, the country which has 12% contribution to the count of scientists. The country known as spear head of technical know-how!

The country which invented the number system, the country which made the world aware of zero! The country which did have the world's first university, the country which uses Sanskrit, known to be the mother of all European  languages, we have the medicinal treatment known from 2500 years ago, the ayurveda scripts still has the detail of cures to which the chemical medicines are still struggling. 

The country who invented chess, the country who gave the idea of Dam to the world. The country where surgery happened before even west knew this is possible!

We are proud to be Indian, We salute the great nation we live in!
