Bips - Maddy falls on Satellite too!

After the heavy blow they received at the box office, it seems that Jodi Breakers are still receiving their share at the satellite rights as well. The promos had raised the bars for the movie but when it got released it seems that the cards fell out of place. 

A source from movie trade says "The movie had generated much hype prior to its release but the poor box office performance has been a minus. Eversince the rights have been bidding at lower rates and this can certainly affect the production crew".

According to the trade specialist the trade price for this Bips-Maddy film came down by nearly 5-6 crores because of the poor box office response. This is the rates when the Khan's are selling their movies at 40 and 30 crores. It seems that the management team at the satellites clearly understand what to pay.

The movie had shown much attention as Madhavan was doing his second movie since the successful run at 3idiots, but a poor story line made the movie fall out of place and dropped nose first. Although the chemistry between Madhavan and Bipasha was much appreciated and their performances were mentioned through the flop run.

Helen back to heal jodi's!

Jodi breakers has already made news by the reunion of broken flames, but now it will mark history as the come back movie of the singer-actor Helen, who had made 'Piya Tu' the ever lasting hit of yesteryear. It will be a treat to see the veteran actor perform back on the screen after a long break.

Helen was caught up by TOI and she says "I am the granny of the show. Milind Soman plays my grandson and Madhavan, of course is paired with Bipasha. There is a problem that occurs and they come to me to help them solve it." Jodi Breakers is Ashwini Chaudhary's movie starring Bipasha Basu and R. Madhavan in lead roles which is to hit the screens on early week of March.

"I was in a mood to do something. That was when this film came my way and I just did it. I relied on director Ashwini and trusted his word. I felt like working with them and I thought that there must be something good about it for them to insist that I do the film." Says the actress, when she was asked what made her do a  comeback through the movie. She has also said that she is now taking dancing lessors from youngsters (Bipasha, Madhavan and Milind) as she feels dropped out when dancing with them, she is the same actress who had once lit screens on fire with her dance moves.

Helen concludes saying, "I keep myself occupied with other activities. I do yoga. I go for long walks and meet friends. I use the money I earn as my pocket money. I feel that I have worked enough and need to take a long break."

I am not Robot - Bipasha

The ever hot Bipasha Basu's hectic schedule has earned her the new nick name 'Robot' among her friends. For the past three months the actress has been committed to two movies already and is busy shooting. It is said that she seldom finds time now for parties which has made her friends call her names.

Bipasha is currently shooting for Raaz-3 which is currently grabbing her most of her day schedule. She is also taking time off from the shoots to promote his upcoming movie 'Jodi Breakers' which is about to hit screens later this month. In a recent interview to reddiff, she said "No, I don't think so. I am still a human. I love to work and meeting my friends, but it's just that the last three months have been a little more demanding."

Further she says "I cannot complain as I have completed a decade in the industry. My first few years in the industry were really crazy. I really didn't have the time to live, which was affecting my health, so six years ago I decided not to do more than three films a year. "

"But, sometimes, you cannot plan the release of your films. I would have loved it if Players and Jodi Breakers had been spaced out by six months."

So that's Bipasha for you, and we will soon be seeing her hot and sexy on screen pretty soon.

Jodi Breakers brings together broken Jodi's!!

Jodi Breakers seems to be doing the opposite of what the name suggests for the name. The movie has been hyped about the movie and it also marks R. Madhavan's movie after his successful bash with the '3 idiots'. But now the latest talk is about the reunion of the friends, Milind Soman, Bipasha Basu and Dipannita Sharma, who were once room mates and also had a love triangle running.

The movie from Ashwini Chaudhary will see the earlier flatmates as room mates in the movie and it will be fun to watch. Milind Soman and Bipasha had stayed together at a flat during their struggling days and were dating each other as well. Later Milind moved to her flatmate Dipannita Sharma and was also dating her.

There was an active love triangle between them but the news did not really break the friendship the three had and will be seen onscreen with the release of Jodi Breakers. The former flatmates set the sets of Jodi Breakers on fire, revealed director Chaudhary. "I had finalised Shehnaz Treasurywala for the role that Dipannita plays in the film. It was Bipasha who requested me to cast her former flatmate. She told me how they stayed together as strugglers in the industry. Jodi Breakers is Bipasha's first romantic comedy and she wanted to have her close friends on the sets with her," added Chaudhary.

Bipasha - Celebration with Exes

Long Gone are the breakup stories of John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. Bips is now enjoying every bit of her single status. The recent news was that she is busy partying with her ex-boyfriends! Milind Soman and Dino Morea were found partying with the hot girl at Goa. The exes were accompanied by the very best (close) friend of Bipasha Rana Duggabati.

Bipasha is currently shooting for her movie Jodi Breakers in Goa when this event happened. A source close to the actress mentioned "Bipasha has been shooting for Jodi Breakers for over a week with Milind and R Madhavan. Last Saturday, Dino was there too for Nandita's store launch, post which there was a celebration party. They all hung out together till the wee hours of the morning. But that's not all... Rana was also there with Bipasha. It's refreshing to see how she has managed to stay such good friends with her ex boyfriends."

TOI caught up with Bipasha on this event and she was happy to admit the fun she had and said "Dino and I have been close friends since forever. Milind is a super fun person and I'm having a blast shooting with him. We've stayed in touch over the years. Good people matter to me and will always be in my life, so there's nothing to hide. I have loved and shared a lot with both Dino and Milind over the years, so why can't we still be friends?"

When the question got diverted to Rana Duggabatti, she said ""Yes, he is here. Ram Charan Teja, one of his actor friends from Hyderabad, got engaged so some 60 friends are here in Goa. He is also shooting with Genelia D'Souza for their Telugu film Na Ishtam so the entire crew is here. Apart from that, my friends Rocky S and Deanne Pandey are also here, along with Maddy's wife Sarita. We're all party people so we're having a blast here!"

But she still continues to name him as her best friend or close friend! "He is sweet! And yes, he's a close friend!"
