Rishi Kapoor - The Villain Aurangazeb

Rishi Kapoor who found a new genre to his otherwise, adorable and funny way of acting through Agneepath is going to continue his baddie image in the upcoming YRF movie, Aurangazeb. Rishi Kapoor, who found one of his strongest roles through Rauf Lala and was quite convincing through out the movie. 

The Rauf Lala look gave in a new turn to the career of Rishi Kapoor, dressed up in a kurta-pyjama, alongwith a karakul cap and kajal in eyes, he made the audience hate him like anything and this success has made him to experiment the baddie characters further. 

"Yes Rishi Kapoor will be playing the role of a villain in 'Auragzeb'," a Yash Raj Film spokesperson told PTI.

The movie will star Arjun Kapoor ( Ishqzaade fame) as the lead in the movie and will also see him playing a double role. 'Aurangzeb' will be directed by Atul Sabharwal, the movie plot is still unknown.

The another highlight of the movie will be the coming together of Jackie Shroff and Amrita Singh after a span of two decades. Jackie and Amrita had shared screen space for Yash Chopra's 1993 film 'Aaina'. "Yes I am doing `Aurangzeb` opposite Amrita. I can`t talk about the film or my role," Jackie told PTI adding that he starts shooting for the movie from August 11.

"It is a very nice and interesting film. I play a school master, an introvert person with good principles. In the second half of the film how my character changes and why, that`s what the story is," Jackie said.

Jackie Shroff also plays a role in latest movie Dhoom 3.

This film is rumored to be a remake of 1978 blockbuster film `Trishul` and will release next year.

When Katrina Kaif cried on Salman’s shoulder...

After the screening of Ek Tha Tiger at YRF studio Katrina broke down into tears. The reason: She had a vermillion on her forehead and media went crazy on seeing the same.

Speculations about her secret wedding were made.

But it was later revealed that the vermilion was nothing but a red tikka that Katrina’s business manager’s mother had applied on the actress’ forehead. Since the tikka was applied near her hair parting, the paparazzi misunderstood it as a sindoor.

"It is a ritual Katrina has observed over the years," said a source close to the actress.

The news spread everywhere and Katrina was surrounded by paparazzi. Unable to handle such craziness Katrina started crying on Salman’s shoulder giving one more chance to the media to add fodder to their gossips.

The actress was reported saying, "Why do they do this to me? Am I that kind of girl?!" she reportedly wailed. The actress made sure that the pics and videos are not circulated in the media.

Salman Khan reportedly consoled the actress and told her to learn from his life. After all he has had to face the media's fury more than many of the actors in the industry today.

Meanwhile their film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is making fresh records with each passing day!  The film which has garnered about Rs.59 crore at the box office in 3 days holds the highest ever first weekend collections record in Indian history. Ek Tha Tiger's collections were 37.5 per cent higher on the first day than the existing record of Hrithik Roshan's Agneepath set earlier this year, which clocked Rs 24 crore.

Salman Fires over Katrina's shoulders - Digs Hrithik, Sanjay

With the first video album of 'Ek Tha Tiger' out, the whole fans are buzzing to the tunes of 'Mashaallah'(Video Here). The actors had been present at the media room for interaction and both were congratulated for their music video and the song was played twice through the ceremony. 

Actor Salman Khan could not resistbeing his cheeky self, especially when he took some playful digs at his co-star Katrina Kaif, looking svelte in a pastel dress at an event yesterday. “The film (Ek Tha Tiger) will be a success because of her,” said Salman responding to the appreciation that Katrina garnered for the music video

With her recent songs, it has been her item numbers that have been hitting the charts more than her movies. So reporters asked if she was OK being tagged as an item girl, to which Salman Khan opted to reply even before Kats could think of a response. “It’s a favour that she (Katrina) does for her friends,” he said. “Karan Johar is her friend so she did that song in his film. And it wasn’t Hrithik’s hardwork or Sanjay Dutt’s charm that won the film accolades…it was all because of Katrina,” he quipped.

He did not stop there, he too up the attack on his movie Bodyguard as well, “Yeh toh inka baddappan hai, itna bada dil hai inka that she agrees…. Who does it these days! Even for Bodyguard we requested her to do a small number and she made it a hit,” Salman continued in the same vein, while Katrina was visibly embarrassed as we heard her mumbling “you’re gonna put me in trouble Salman.”

Good to see the couple mingling together and we are glad that the miffed up relationship is bonding back together. And the music of 'Ek Tha Tiger' is minddd Blowinggg!

Salman Beats SRK : Dabaang 2 gets a lumsum!!

When it comes to satellite rights, it has been always a game of superstars. Shah Rukh Khan has always ruled the game as his movies will be sold with the highest satellite prices. SRK was sky high when his movie Don2's satellite rights went on sale for Rs 32 crore. This was one of the highest paid prices at the time period and it seems that the record did not stay long.

The recent news is that among the tempting offers that were placed before Arbaaz Khan over the Salman Khan starrer 'Dabaang 2', he has accepted the Rs. 42 Crore offer and has already beat the best prices that were laid out by SRK or Karan Johar. Earlier it was Hrithik Roshan starer 'Agneepath' which went to Star Satellite communications for a whooping price of Rs. 37 Crore. 

Sources are still not confirming that Arbaaz has accepted the current offer but unofficially this is the satellite price that is marked for Dabaang 2.

Now the latest bench mark set by Salman Khan will be the target for SRK to break when his next movie is ready. But for now, as it was the trend last year, Salman Khan is coming back with his Dabaang style and is all set to rule the cinemas when the movie is ready. Arbaaz is planning to start filming the movie by mid of this year and the movie should be in cinemas by the end of 2012.

Its an amazing trend that a movie which is not yet started is grabbing a great sum in rights and it should already be declared a hit before even it reaches the cinemas!!

Kareena does Halkat Jawani - Heroine

Heroine, the movie from Madhur Bhandarkar will be showcasing the lavani dance; which has been a trend since the Agneepath song, Chikni Chameli. Kareena Kapoor who has just started the second schedule of 'Heroine' has been reported to have done Halkat Jawani, an item song for the movie. 

Halkat is a common slang used in Mumbai which means Nasty or Mischevious. And this is going to be a competition with the already completed lavani dance of Katrina Kaif and the proposed item number of Vidya Balan named as 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari'. 

Heroine had started the first schedule in November after the much held controversies and speculations on who will be replacing Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, who was originally casted for the role. Aish had dropped the project following her pregnancy and this did cause up a stir in the industry. (previous stories)

Along with Kareena, Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda will be sharing the screen space and the heroine also has the exclusive set of costumes designed by Manish Malhotra which is said to be the highlight. The reports are that the actress will be seen in 130 different costumes.

So the grandeur shots are in the making and we just are holding up for the release!

Krrish 2 is entirely dad's baby and his work - Hrithik

Although the promotions of 'Agneepath' is in high note, there is still speculations about his upcoming project, that is how the charisma of the actor is. Hrithik Roshan, who is currently busy in promoting his movie 'Agneepath' which is due to release this month was also being reported as directing his upcoming project 'Krrish 2'. The speculations were high and it seems to have broken by TOI, as they caught up with the actor and had asked his intentions.

When asked for, Hrithik says "I'm not directing Krrish 2 with dad or any other movie. I'm only acting. Yes, I've been an assistant director to my dad for a few years, but that's where it ends. Krrish 2 is entirely dad's baby and his work." He also clarified on the point about his future ventures into direction of a movie, "Well, as of now it's just acting. There are interesting projects. Direction will happen as and when and if it ever has to! I haven't even given it a thought."

Hrithik is currently working hard on toning his lean and muscular look as he will need to tone himself down for Krrish 2, he says "It's a tough job, especially if you aren't physically fit. I just had to do it. It was a now or never kind of thing! So it's a lot of right food and right workouts with ample amount of sleep that does the trick,"

Katrina Kaif - Bleeding Chameli

It is no joke, the Chikni Chameli song had the real blood of Katrina Kaif and that seems to have shown up in the success of the movie. It is said that the shoot of Chikni Chameli was more tiring than it was scheduled to be and the shoot went long enough that Kats had blisters on her legs and those bleeded with her shoot.

Worried about her condition, her staff asked the choreographer to stop the shoot. Packing up for the day would have meant sending Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt home, too. 

But Katrina proved to be a thorough professional and insisted that the actors needn't worry about her. She resumed her dance in no time, and completed the shoot as planned. Looks like this Chameli gave it her 100 percent there and we see that now!

Hrithik Roshan who is busy promoting his upcoming movie Agneepath, the pairing of his with Priyanka Chopra has been much appreciated through the songs and promos. The rumor that they have already done a hot kiss scene together is the latest buzz among promotions. But Hrithik Roshan doesn't seem to consider this as a kiss scene yet.

In a recent media event, when a journalist chose to ask about his kiss scenes with Katrina Kaif in ZNMD and the latest rumor, the actor tried to avoid the question peacefully but when the journalist was insisting on getting a reply from the actor he said "If you think any of those scenes are kissing scene, you don't know how to kiss! Come on stage, and I'll teach you how it's done!" 

This made the journalist calm down and sit to her seat peacefully, the actor was still in the humor mood and continued the press conference. It seems that few kiss scenes has really made the actor bold enough to give lessons!!

Hrithik - Priyanka puts up a sizzling song!

The upcoming movie 'Agneepath' has many more surprises hidden in them. Be it the dirty and villainous look of Sanjay Dutt in the movie  or be it the action sequences of Hrithik himself. The latest news is that it does have a sensuous song for Hrithik and Priyanka where they get wet and slowly dip themselves into the hot romantic song.

The pairing has been much appreciated by critics world wide, they had already proven their magic in Krissh and since then the pair has been keeping away from each other. But the separation seems to have increased the magic, this is said to be highly hot song and too explosive too!

Katrina to hit back with Chikni Chameli

Chikni Chameli is the latest item number from Katrina Kaif, who has made item numbers have a  different definition, be it her Do Dhaari Talwar from Mere Brother Ki Dulhan or sizzler in Salman Khan's Bodyguard, Kats put a magic which does leave impression on the minds of people and it lasts.

She started the act with her ever shining song 'Sheila Ki Jawani', which showed her in the most sizzling of style. She had shown the most aesthetic style of sexy act. The new Agneepath is being directed by debutant Karan Malhotra. Releasing January 26 next year.

Sanjay Dutt Showered with Praises

anjay Dutt is much appreciated with the release of the first preview of the movie Agneepath by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Malhotra. The movie is a sequel or a remake to the original version which had made memorable by the acting talents of Amitabh Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa.

Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Kancha Cheena which is an anti hero opposite Hrithik Roshan.  The story portrays revenge as mentioned in the trailer(more). The new look of Sanjay is also much appreciated, the news is that the appearance looks more like Marlon Brando in the movie Apocalypse Now. 

Karan Malhotra, speaking to the media said " I am in the awe of that look and I am happy that Sanjay Sir took this role to the next level". He also continued the praise that Sanju baba never interfered into the work and was always the director's actor. "I am happy to be working with Sanjay sir, he never interrupts in the work and am glad to had worked with an actor who goes by the graph of character and the movie"

Agneepath is to be in theaters pretty soon.

The Evil is back!!

Sanjay's Latest Look for Agneepath

As with his movies, Karan Johar has a special talent dealing with his actors, this was for Sanjay Dutt when he planned surprise for him by releasing his evil look in the upcoming movie Agneepath. He must now be the strongest villain by the looks, already the assumptions and comparisons are made to the ever shining Mugambo or Gabbar Singh, who had terrorized the industry in 90's. 

The new look is too evil and is often mentioned as the Dark Lord of the industry, the role was earlier performed by Danny Denzongpa, opposite Amitabh Bachchan. The latest version of Agneepath will be seeing Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra. The role played by Sanjay is named Kancha, the evil looks gets better with the bald and pierced ring. 

The evil smile to add to the effect just clears the air. It is not the first time we have seen Sanju in a negative style, his previous movie Khalnayak had redefined a lot of statements on style of villains. Now this new look will outmark the best of villains to the date. We cannot wait to see the movie running and see the actions!!

Priyanka's Cameo For Shahrukh!

Shahrukh is sky-high on the promotions of his much awaited movie Ra.One which is due to be released by Diwali. The movie is already with glitters of high graphics and actions resembling Hollywood movies. Now Shahrukh Khan turns the Indian movie style promotion with a cameo by Priyanka and Sanjay Dutt.

Reports mention that Shah Rukh was impressed with the bald look of Sanjay Dutt in the movie Agneepath directed by Karan Johar and he requested Sanju baba to do a special appearance in his movie and this offer was readily accepted by Sanjay. As for Priyanka Chopra, she has been the best buddy for Shah Rukh since the movie 'Don' and the special item number in 'Billu', which was much talked about.

'Agneepath' is a hrithik roshan movie and this is directed by Karan Johar. Being a close buddy to Shah Rukh, Karan easily agreed to give a day off to both Priyanka and Sanjay for the shoot.

The promos for Ra.One are already out and they are quite promising. We wish the King Khan all the best!

"No" Says Kareena to Karan

Kareena Drops Yet another from Karan Johar

Karan Johar is doing the final schedule for his latest, Agneepath, starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra. During the schedule, he had approached Kareena Kapoor to do a dance sequence in the movie similar to what Helen had done in late 70's. A dance act in the villains den -

The reports continue that this was tough decision for Kareena, as Karan is one of her best friends and rejecting an offer from him was always going to be tough! But she did it.

This is not the first time Karan Johar has heard 'No' from Kareena, earlier when he was directing Kal Ho Na Ho , Karan had approached her to do the lead role in the movie but she plainly rejected the offer. The movie was then started with Preity Zinta, another superstar in Hindi Film Industry, and the movie went ahead to become a greater success.

Reports say that Karan is cool on this rejection and has took the matter in the right sense.
