Manjari Fardis and Aamir Khan!

Many will seldom forget Manjari Fadnis, the beautiful girl who had made her debut in 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' opposite Imran Khan. She has had a great impression in the mind of 'the perfectionist', Aamir Khan. The role that was short was still having a great impact in the movie and she had played it perfectly.

The impact that Manjari Fadnis, had is so strong that Aamir has recommended her to good friend Satyajit Bhatkal (Lagaan production team member) for his debut film, Zokkomon. Satyajit Bhatkal, who is the author of Spirit of Lagaan and National Award winning director of short film Chale Chalo produced by Aamir Khan, was hunting around for a female lead for his Bollywood debut, when Aamir happened to tell him about Manjari. 

The actress plays the lead in Satyajit's debut action adventure film with Darsheel Safary and Anupam Kher. Also, what is uncanny is that Manjari's character in Zokkomon, where she plays a mentor and guide to an orphaned Darsheel and helps him in his journey.

Manjari has also been seen in many of South Indian movies seems to be actively looking to place her foot in bollywood.
