Profit sharing has been the latest mantra to actors in Bollywood, now Kareena Kapoor joins the league and also earns the tag as first actress to do so. The upcoming movie and the most talked or controversial one marks this, Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. The movie Heroine will be the first one to offer the actress the profit sharing option. It was earlier reported that the actress had asked for 8 crore to do the movie for which the UTV had dropped the option and had even mentioned that there was no such talks between them and Kareena(more). But the recent turn of events does give a clear picture on what is about to be done.
Kareena will be doing profit sharing and in similar terms to the co-actor Arjun Rampal. The sources mention that:
"Earlier Kareena had opted for a pay of 8 Crore, but with the continued talks between the actor and producers she has now slashed the pay and has opted for profit sharing. The producers are also happy with this and have worked out a plan for her"
The trend has been in bollywood, which includes Shah Rukh Khan, Amir Khan, Imran Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and many more doing the profit sharing with the movies. So Kareena still grabs the rank 1 post for profit sharing market.
