After the success of The Dirty Picture actress Vidya Balan has doubled her admirer base so much that for one of her fans she has turned into obsession.
A man in his late twenties had been following the actress to her movie sets and finally, he reached her Khar residence(Anand Vihar Apartments) too. Little did Vidya Balan know that a stalker would turn her life upside down. The stalker had been harassing the actress for a long time.
Vidya's friend said, "He used to be there on her sets. He used to be there in her building. Once unknowingly, Vidya even nodded to him and said namaste." A resident of Anand Vihar said "He was obsessed with Vidya."
Things turned even worse when the stalker reached Vidya’s flat last week but Vidya wasn't at home at that time.
Her sister, who delivered twins in November 2011, opened the door. When told that Vidya had gone out, the stalker asked if Vidya had gone out with her niece Ira and nephew Ruhaan. The actress got doubtful and this forced the society guards to swing into action and put the stalker behind the bars and next time when the stalker came the guards alerted the police and he was nabbed.
But, the police officials left the stalker after a warning and he hasn't been seen after that.
