After their 'not-so-good' outing to Mumbai in 2006, it seems that Brad and Angelina has decided to put the past in dump and start over again. It is not yet finalized but if the rumors from Grapevine are to be believed, we might see the star couple again in India and this time they will have a smoother and longer outing than what they did on their previous visit!
The event is a Travel Magazine Awards which is set to be held at Mumbai, it will be one of its kind and will be on world standards. The magazine is already preparing hard for keeping up the standards and is said to include the stars from Bollywood (ofcourse!) and it will also see the celebs from Hollywood as well. When it came to choosing the best and popular Hollywood pair, there was no better name than Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Both are equally popular and are quite a darling to every crowd they are at, plus, rumors are that the couple was more interested in visiting back the country and enjoy a longer vacation.
A source from the event management group says "“Since it’s a first-of-its-kind award event in India, it’s been planned on a world class scale.Hence, the biggest celebs from Bollywood and Hollywood are on the guest list. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were the first choice as they are quite popular here. Besides, they are also known for their philanthropic work.”
The last visit from the couple was a short one in 2006, it was mainly for the movie that Angelina was doing at the time "That was a short work trip as Angelina was busy shooting for the last leg of her film A Mighty Heart. Their kids Maddox, Shiloh and Zahra had also accompanied them. The couple before coming to Mumbai had been to Pune, where she had to shoot parts of the film with Indian actor Irrfan Khan.This time, the couple intend to stay back and enjoy Indian hospitality for a longer time. Besides Mumbai, Rajasthan, Goa and Kerala are a few places that they are interested in visiting. Visiting Taj Mahal is definitely on top of their list,” adds a source.
During the same visit the bodyguards of the couple had a rough attitude towards the locals who were gathered around to see their dears. This event was much controversial and it is said that the couple had dropped the idea of staying long and left the country after the shoot. But finally, things have changed around and we will be able to see them walk along with our stars!
