An MRI scan revealed that he has hurt his lower back and has been kept under observation. The actor is in extreme pain and the doctors have advised the actor to take complete bed rest for at least two weeks.
A source close to the movie said, "He was shooting on Saturday when he got injured. However, he did not pay much heed to it and continued shooting. It wasn't until Tuesday morning that the pain aggravated so much that it was unbearable and he could not shoot anymore. Finally, he had to be driven to Pathan Court to a doctor. An MRI scan has been performed. The pain is in his lower back and he is under observation and has been asked to take complete bed rest."
Lootera is an upcoming 2012 Bollywood romantic film directed and co-produced by Vikramaditya Motwane and starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The film is a co-production between Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms and Vikas Bahl, Anurag Kashyap & Vikramaditya Motwane's production house Phantom.
Ranveer Singh had earlier danced to the tunes of Band Baaja Baaraat for the huge crowd that gathered outside his hotel in Purulia District, Bengal where he is shooting for Lootera.
According to sources, Ranveer is still in Dalhousie and it is unclear when Ranveer would resume shooting.
