Kareena Kapoor in Rowdy Rathore

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has a special appearance in the film Rowdy Rathore which includes a song as well.

Kareena Kapoor is currently busy playing cameos and doing item numbers for free. Kareena, one of the highest paid actresses today, did the cameo for free. She has agreed to do item number for her good friend Salman Khan in Arbaaz Khan's ‘Dabangg 2’ and now its Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s and Sabinaa Khan's turn.

It is said the actress agreed to do a cameo in Rowdy Rathore as the film has been co-produced by one of her close friend Shabinaa Khan. Kareena confirmed by saying, "I have done the cameo for Shabinaa and Sanjay. Both are very dear to me."

Shabinaa and Kareena have been close friends for years. When designer Sabinaa turned a producer she first approached Kareena for this role and she agreed immediately. The scene and song were shot in Filmcity last week. Her relationship with Shabinaa goes back a long way, to the days when she was dating Shahid Kapoor and Shabinaa was designing for him. It is said that Salman Khan will show his gratitude towards Kareena for doing Dabangg 2 by giving her a brand new BMW.

Rowdy Rathore is an upcoming Bollywood Action film directed by Prabhudheva, co-produced by Shabinaa Khan and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. The film features Akshay Kumar in double role opposite Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. The film is a remake of Telugu film Vikramarkudu. Rowdy Rathore will be the return of Akshay Kumar in the action genre. The movie is scheduled to release on 1st June, 2012.
