Chillar party sequel to be co-produced by Salman

Buzz is that the movie Chillar party which was co-produced by Salman Khan and Ronnie Screwvala wil soon have a sequel coming up.

After the movie was released last year it was said that the makers were working on a script for the sequel. But it is said that the sequel was delayed because of the cast. The kids who had featured in the movie had outgrown the script and the makers had to lookout for a new group to cast.

Apart from that there were even rumours that UTV was focusing on other projects because of which the sequel was delayed.

According to latest reports the makers have decided to go ahead with the sequel of Chillar Party and the movie will again be co-produced by Salman. But director Vikas Bahl is finding it difficult to adjust dates for the movie, so he has decided to opt out of the project.

Chillar Party is a 2011 Indian children's film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl, and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the UTV Motion Pictures and Salman Khan under his SKBH Productions (Salman Khan Being Human Productions). The film has a multiple-cast of debuting child-artists particularly named after movies such as, Silencer, Aflatoon, Shaolin, etc. It also features Ranbir Kapoor in an item-number. The revolved around pre-teen kids and a dog. Chillar Party won the 2011 National Film Award for Best Children's Film.
