Dhoom 3 shooting begins

The shooting for the movie Dhoom 3 has finally begun with a pooja at Yash Raj Film studios. The filming started on 8th June 2012, Friday. 

Actor Uday Chopra tweeted, "Today (Friday) Dhoom 3 officially begins with a pooja at YRF ( Yash Raj Films)... for me, it begins with a killer leg workout. Guess that's my pooja."

Dhoom series centres around bike chases, handsome thieves and daring theft plans. On 2 February 2011, Yash Raj Films confirmed that the third installment of the series would go on floors at the end of 2011 and planned for a Christmas 2012 release, though now it is releasing early 2013 due to extensive post production. 

The film will feature Aamir Khan playing a negative character while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles of Jai and Uday. Rani Mukherjee will star in a pivotal role. Katrina Kaif will also be a part of the film. Dhoom 3 will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The story will take place ten years after the events of Dhoom and eight after the events of Dhoom 2.
