Esha's Sangeet ceremony

Top B-town celebs attended the sangeet ceremony of Esha Deol and Bharat Thaknani on 25th June, 2012. It was their first pre-wedding function. The Sangeet was held at Hotel Lalit Intercontinental, Mumbai.

Esha was donned in a red-orange-indigo ghaghra choli by Rocky S with beautiful kundan jewellery and an elegant kamarband and Bharat Takhtani was seen in a blue velvet sherwani with gold zari work. Esha looked just gorgeoud in her lehenga. Esha's sister Ahana Deol was in a blue and green anarkali suit for the event, while Hema Malini was seen in a light peach with ornate border sari with kundan jewellery.

The function was attended by around 200 guests. The decor was in a Red-and-black colour scheme with a retro touch, flashing disco balls.

Esha said that, "I am madly love with him (Bharat), I can't take my eyes off him." Bharat called Esha Deol his "princess for life," and added that he is "looking forward to having my best life and my most wonderful life with my partner."

It was a fun filled night with a special act planned by the bride Esha with her sister Ahana.

Esha added, "I love dancing and I managed to get Bharat to dance and he also finally agreed to dance."

The guest list included Abhay Deol who came with his girlfriend Preeti Desai, he said that, "I wish they live happily together and obviously it's a momentous occasion. I am very excited and happy for them." Abhay Deol was the only Deol brother seen at the Sangeet ceremony.

Actor Sohail Khan, who is a friend of Bharat said that, "He is a Bandra boy and Esha has been a family friend. I just wish them all the best and they are a lovely couple."

Riteish Deshmukh said that, "I just wish them a happy married life. I am extremely happy for Esha that she found her true love and wish them both a happy married life."

Genelia said, "Yeah, we wish them all the best for their new life together and I am sure it's going to be an exciting new chapter in their life."

Other actors who were spotted at Esha's sangeet ceremony included Naseeruddin Shah with family, Raima and Reema Sen, Riteish Deshmukh with pretty wife Genelia, Malaika Khan and Ranveer Singh.

The next in line is the Mehandi ceremony which will be held on 28th June, 2012.
