Rowdy Rathore : Rs.115 Crore and climbing

When Akshay and Prabhudeva pulled out a hit, one wouldn't have expected it to be this big. The movie had tight fight with biggies like 'Shanghai' and 'Madagascar' but it still found its way through to the top as Rowdy Rathore now becomes the highest grosser of 2012, as it has already collected a sum of Rs 115 crore. And trade gurus expect it to cover the 122 crore mark set out by Agneepath. 

The actors Akshay and Sonakshi are in cloud 9 as they are still the favorites in the box offices. The movie which is an all to all entertainer keeps the masses amazed with the colorful sets, dance numbers and thrilling fight scenes.

The film which started out its voyage on June 1st had already the jam-packed audience to support it. The movie had never a time to look back as the word of mouth and the amazing action sequences dragged the audiences into the theatres. The movie has been appreciated not only in multiplexes but was also able to keep up with the mass and single screens. 

The film has also marked the success of Prabhudeva as a film maker as he has been able to give back to back 100crore movies to the industry. He has also been much appreciated for the dance styles and masala that he brought about to the bollywood movies. He has also given the new look to Salman Khan which did help him carry through to the back to back successes. Hope it works again for Akshay.
