Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty is planning to launch her daughter Athiya Shetty in the Bollywood industry very soon.
Athiya Shetty has decided to select film as her career. After knowing that both Suniel Shetty and his wife admitted her to a renowned filmmaking institution the “New York Film Academy” two years before and she is now back from New York after finishing a course in film-making and liberal arts at the New York Film Academy.
Athiya is now looking forward for a grand Bollywood debut. A few days ago Suniel Shetty was even spotted having a chat with Ranbir Kapoor. A source said that, "Suniel was shooting at the same place where Ranbir happened to be doing some promotional activity for Barfee. So he dropped in to have a casual chat."
The source added, "Ranbir is the best bet for a debut for any new girl in Bollywood. The rumour is that Athiya could be making her debut opposite the actor, once he is through with his current lot of assignments at hand. A big announcement seems on the anvil."
Daddy dear Suniel Shetty is motivating Athiya to do what she wants to and warns her about the unpredictability of the industry. A source said that Suniel Shetty is worried because of the competition in the film industry which, they say is something Athiya has to learn to handle on her own. Suniel Shetty said that, “The only thing I ask her is whether she will be able handle failure. That’s the only fear. If she doesn’t succeed, is she strong enough to handle the brickbats?”
18 year old Athiya was seen with her mom Mana Shetty recently.
Apart from Athiya in the past many children of Bollywod stars have made a Bollywood debut. Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shraddha Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Aliah Bhatt, Sri devi daughter and many more are in the row who have entered film industry or getting ready to make a mark in Bollywood.
