It is a typical Salman Khan movie to be said the least, if you are expecting something great from Kabir Khan, then stay out, because this is just a action-masala-entertainer. The movie is for the masses and the characterization and the situations just adds to the aura of Salman Khan's action image. So once again this is a very tiny thread of a story which is made into a big movie.

Afterall, it takes only few minutes of action and few more of dances for a Salman Khan movie to be hit - that is how the star carries himself.

Once again, this Salman Khan movie has done the unthinkable and has crossed the first day collection of Rs. 35 Crore! The reports are still unofficial, but the range should be close to this. This is the highest till date for any Bollywood movie. It was Agneepath from Hrithik that did keep the record for close to an year, Rs 21.5 Crore was the collection record for the movie.

The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer movie, which was released on nearly 2500 screens on August 15, registered 100% occupancy in both Single screens and multiplexes across the country on the first day. It has garnered unheard of and unimaginable figures in all the circuits.

Taran Adarsh has reported that the movie did make Rs 2 crore in Rajasthan alone where Agneepath had done a business of 1.2 Crore, so the results might be eye popping but the crew is happy about it. But is the critics thinking the same way?

As always, it is a no-brainer and full entertainer, you might have to shut your common sense out before you watch the scenes. The first part of the movie is thrilling and exciting with a well choreographed stunt sequences and romantic songs. The second half however fails to match the first.

One thing positive for the director is that he has evolved from making the realistic movies like 'Kabul Express', 'New York' to a action mass-entertainer. The thin storyline is marked as the greatest fail of the movie.

PLOT:

Salman Khan plays Tiger, a code name given to him by Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) of India. But the role of an intelligence officer has been manipulated to the core to befit a masala entertainer!

After a successful mission in Iraq, Tiger is now entrusted with the task of collecting external intelligence by spying on a Trinity College Professor, who has apparently been approached by the ISI for sharing missile technology secrets.

Tiger flies down to Dublin, the Irish capital, to follow the Professor. And that is where he ends up meeting his ladylove (Zoya) Katrina Kaif, the professor’s residence caretaker. Tiger introduces himself as Manish Chandra, a writer, and seeks her help in getting an appointment with the professor.

Zoya extends all possible help to a shelter-less Manish and befriends him. And that is when seeds of romance are sowed!

Though Tiger knows that he is on a mission and he dare not fall in love, he loses his heart to Zoya, who could act as a catalyst in providing information about the professor. Tiger is constantly reminded of his duties by Gopi (Ranvir Shorey), his colleague, not to lose his heart while on a mission but he does approve of Tiger’s choice of a Bhabhi for him!

Zoya, who also happens to be a dance instructor, invites Tiger for a show and here is where you would find a twist in the tale!

Although you can't expect much of the suspense as it is evident from a mile on what is to happen. But again, it was the same in Dabaang, Wanted and his other releases. But we are sure that this is another Rs.100 Crore movie without any doubts. The action sequences and the dance numbers just are a icing on the cake.

The chemistry between Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan looks amazing and one wont agree if they say they aren't in a relationship!

And as usual in his movies, Salman Khan does take his shirt off! Family audiences beware! And also there are few mini dressed girls once in a while, but we can't deny the fact that movies are changing a lot. The introduction sequence of Salman is amazing as he fights through a team of terrorists in Iraq borders.

Also, for once, Katrina Kaif isn't playing the damsel in distress. She has some great action scenes to herself and matches Salman step for step in some scenes. (katrina confident about kabir - news here)

So this is certainly a one time watch or may be two if you are a die hard fan of Salman!
