Muppets Most Wanted is an upcoming American musical comedy mystery film, directed by James Bobin, written by Bobin and Nicholas Stoller, and produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Mandeville Films. The film is a sequel to 2011's The Muppets and stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey. David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, who produced the previous film, will return, as well as musician Bret McKenzie. In the film, the Muppets find themselves unwillingly involved in an international crime caper while on tour in Europe.

Principal photography commenced in January 2013 at Pinewood Studios in London. Muppets Most Wanted will be released on March 21, 2014.

PLOT

While on a grand world tour, the Muppets find themselves wrapped into an European jewel-heist caper headed by a Kermit lookalike and his dastardly sidekick.
