Kareena wishes to star in Arundhati!

The Hindi Movie Industry has broken its bounds in creating remakes of hit movies from South Indian Languages. The audience of Hindi film industry seems to find the power of a good story in these movies. The movie Arundhati, which was a super hit in Telugu industry is one such project that every actress in b-towwn will love to do. The story is of a princess who returns to server her revenge. The movie was starred by Anushka Shetty, a pronounced actress from south and Sonu Soodh.

The latest news is that Kareena Kapoor is quite impressed with the movie and will love to start the project, reports mention that she is keen in working with the project in Hindi. There has also been news that Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukherjee, Vidya Balan and Kajol were also impressed with the character and was looking forward to doing this!

The news broke when a leading production house grabbed the remake rights for the film last year, but unfortunately due to issues they couldn't make the movie in real or start about the project. Anurag Basu was requested to do the Hindi version of the movie. They are also keen on casting Kareena Kapoor, but this hasn't been finalized as per reports and they will be announcement on the cast in few days time.

Anushka Shetty and Sonu Sood starrer Arundhati was directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. The movie was produced by M Shyam Prasad Reddy on the banner Mallemala Entertainments. The movie went ahead to be a super hit for the action sequences and the aesthetic craft that was built around.

We hope Kareena beats the competition!
