After the humongous success of Delhi Belly, both the characters and actors has been widely accepted. They are gaining both monetarily and in popularity. But there has been more troubles to tackle with, the latest is from Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court issuing notices. We guess there is more to come!!
Recently in a hearing Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court has issued notices to Aamir Khan Productions, Department of Information and Broadcasting and Censor Board of Film Certification opposing the public exhibition of the movie. The court clearly states that this movie violates the section 5B of Cinematograph Act of the Indian Government.
This has been a pretty strong blow to the producers and to the censor board, the court has asked to submit replies with in 4 weeks explaining the reasons. The notices were issued by Justice Uma Nath Singh and Justice Anil Kumar on written petition seeking to remove the certificate for public exhibition to the film which was released on July 1st.
The petitioners alleged that the film was a wrong trend to the society with its indecent, immoral and abusive language in use. They also demanded not to certify any further movies of this genre!
We hope Aamir gets off this train as quickly as he boarded on it!
