Mona, ex-wife of Boney Kapoor is no more

48 year old Producer Mona Shourie Kapoor, ex-wife of Bollywood filmmaker Boney Kapoor, died in a hospital on Sunday after battling multiple organ cancer for about five months. 

Mona Kapoor was taken to the Hinduja Hospital two weeks back and was undergoing treatment. The reports were that her condition was very bad when she was brought to the hospital.

Mona, daughter of producer Sattee Shourie, was the CEO of Future Studios, which is described as the largest fully-furnished indoor shooting studio in the city. She even produced successful television shows like "Hera Pheri", "Yug", "Wilayatee Babu" and "Kaise Kahoon".

Mona has two children Arjun Kapoor (who makes his debut with yrf's Ishaqzaade) and Anshula. 

Actress Sonam Kapoor tweeted, "My aunt @monakapoor3 funeral is at 10.30 am Tom (Monday) 26th at pavan hans."

After hearing the news of her demise, Khan brothers - Salman and Arbaaz, who were shooting for "Dabangg 2" at the Kamalistan Studio immediately left for the hospital.

She was active on Twitter in her last days and March 16, she had tweeted: "Once more anyone asks how I am, I will block them. You all know I am in hospital and battling stage 3 multiple organs cancer. Kindly pray for me. That's all."
