Genelia bags her second Nandi Award

Genelia D'souza won her second Nandi(state) award. Few days back she was involved in legal trouble in Hyderabad. Later, over the weekend, she posted a happy picture of herself drapped in sari holding the award she won on a microblogging site. She thanked Andhra Pradesh for the honour. 

Genelia D'Souza has appeared in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam language films. After gaining wide attention in a Parker Pen commercial with Amitabh Bachchan, D'Souza began her acting career with Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003. She was recognized for her role in Boys the same year, and later established herself in Telugu cinema by acting in several Telugu films during 2003–2005.

The year 2006 marked a significant turning point in D'Souza's career. She then portrayed the role of Haasini, a vibrant, effervescent and a happy-go-lucky young girl, in the 2006 Telugu romantic film Bommarillu. The movie, a blockbuster at the box-office and also won the 2006 Golden Nandi award.

Genelia D'souza aka Genelia Deshmukh who recently got married to her long-time boyfriend actor Riteish Deshmukh, had even been enlisted in the prestigious Limca Book of World Records after delivering four super duper hits in four different languages - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. 

Seems as if her wedding has brought her loads of luck !!!!
