Ajay Devgn invest in power project

Ajay Devgn has just become a part of a very important power project that has achievd completion in Gujarat. The actor has invested in a state of the art solar park.

He said that this joint venture that will ensure the installation of 600MW of solar power plants.

The panel was headed by Mr. Ramakant J. Tibrewala of the ROHA Group, who congratulated the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, for his support to the project. The state-of-the-art Solar Park has 600 MW of Solar Power Plants installed in it, which will ensure generation of a great deal of solar energy, and as Ajay put it, “Green power, clean power”, in years to come.

A source said that, "Ajay has always believed in eco-friendly processes and he is keen to introduce the concept in filmmaking too, where solar powered generators can be used for electricity on sets, thus saving power. He has always believed in supporting such causes, be it at home or on sets. So, this was more than just a business venture for him.” he added, “Though Ajay doesn’t tom-tom about it, he’s always looking at ways to make everything as eco-friendly as possible. Even at home, simple things like not wasting electricity, switching off lights when not required, is the norm.” 

Ajay, along with his long time accomplice, Bollywood producer Kumar Mangat, and two others, announced the completion of a 25 MW Solar Plant in Charanaka, Patan District, Gujarat.

Ajay Devgn also expressed his keenness to venture into similar projects in other states. The actor is currently shooting for Son of Sardar (SOS) in Punjab.
