Rush In - 'Talaash' Bookings started!

We always praise the marketing strategy of Shah Rukh Khan as more aggressive and enthusiastic. But Bollywood has always been amazed by the intelligent tactics that Aamir Khan does for marketing his movies. Be it posting banners on rickshaws or trimming the head bald - he always comes up with the kind of marketing that is totally alien to Bollywood. And for Talaash he is making another great move, that is a 100 day advance booking for the movie!

The movie which is all set to release on November 30 is planning to create the hype by the current strategy, the fans may be delighted that they will be having a sure seat on the release dates and to see the mega star after a long time on big screen.

The Bollywood gurus are surprised by the move by Aamir and crew, “Never before has this happened for any Bollywood film but perhaps this is Aamir’s way of making an announcement quite loud and clear.” says an insider.

A number of Aamir fans are already queuing up at the booking windows of PVR multiplexes in order to book their seats for the first day first show of the film. The new trend of advance booking has ensured that announcement of Aamir's much-awaited film is loud and clear.

This also clears the confusion regarding the release dates and hopefully the movie will not get postponed further like in previous instances. This strategy will also be a gauge for the producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani to learn the curiosity of the crowd for the movie.

The move is common in Hollywood movies and this is for the first time a Bollywood movie will try this one. And it is said that YRF is awaiting how the strategy works out and will probably do the same for SRK-Katrina movie which should be coming up after Ek Tha Tiger releasing today

The promotions for the movie is yet to start, as Aamir is currently in Chicago shooting his movie Dhoom 3. He will be coming in soon by next month and start out the promotions and it might be a better and bigger one if sources are to be believed. Earlier there was talks that Aamir Khan and the director of the movie, Reema Katgi were not in terms for the final few shots of the movie and Aamir wanted those to be re-shot. But it seems that this was just another rumor as the sources now confirm that it was 'Satyamev Jayate' which was the main reason why Aamir did not want to start the movie promotions earlier.

Directed by Reema Kagti, the movie stars Rani Mukherjee along with Kareena Kapoor.
