The basic theme of Dhoom is a smart cop catching a thief with the help of fast bikes. This was seen in both, Dhoom and Dhoom 2. The first installment of Dhoom was released back in 2004, featuring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Udit Chopra. All three of these Bollywood actors are known for their love towards fast bikes. It was during the shooting of Dhoom, that Abhishek Bachchan, who plays the role of a good guy in the entire series, learnt to ride fast bikes, thanks to John Abraham. These two are also seen riding together on Mumbai roads, just for fun.
In Dhoom 2, released in 2006, it was Hrithik Roshan who played the role of an international thief along with Aishwarya Rai. Once again ACP Jai Dixit (A Bachchan) and Ali Akbar Fateh Khan (Uday Chopra) are put to task to catch them. This edition too sees superbikes in action.
In Dhoom 3 too superbikes will take center stage. Amir Khan, who plays the role of a thief, was spotted riding a black BMW K1200R in Chicago, while filming for the movie last year. (As you can hear in the video below, cops are trying to catch a suspect on black bike) D:3 also features Katrina Kaif, along with the regular duo of Jai and Ali. Unlike the previous two editions, which were directed by Sanjay Gadhvi, this one is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya.
Speaking about the new Dhoom, Aamir recently stated to his fans on Facebook, “Guys… I just finished seeing the final cut of D3… and I cannot wait for y’all to watch it… Suddenly Christmas seems too far away!!!” Are you too waiting for the movie?...
