Zindangi Na Milegi Dobara team Turns Up for Mumbai

The movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was released in midst of the catastrophes of Bomb Blast and still the producers feel that the Mumbaikars came back to the theaters and made it a success. This was time to repay them for their sufferings, speaking to the media Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani along with director Zoya Akhtar decided this.


They have mentioned that they will be paying out a part of the movie collections from multiplexes to the victims of Mumbai blasts on 13th July 2011. The participating multiplexes will be PVR Cinemas, Mulund - Juhu Fun Cinemas, Chembur, Andheri, Kandivali, Kalyan and Vashi - Cinemas, Sion and Inox, Nariman Point.

The makers of the movie has credited this idea to Kishore Lulla, of Eros International. The producer mentions that the blasts had made them loose the joy part about the movie and the thought came into Farhan Kishore Lulla and producer himself to share the revenue. The movie was released on friday two days after the blast.

The movie had collected 59 crore after the 28.60 crore gain through weekends and 31 crore through satellite and music rights. The reported cost of the movie is 55 crore and has just gained an even amount in terms of revenue. The movie starred Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechilin.
