Katy Perry, the leading names of American POP industry is all set to perform for the opening ceremony of Indian Premiere League, season 5 which is set to be inaugurated on April 3, 2012. The cricket extravagance has already been the key spot of attention for both players and celebrities alike. The addition of Katy will only add a jewel to the most prestigious trophy in the twenty20 league matches.
The event will happen at YMCA grounds at Chennai, and the event will start around 7.30PM IST. The event is all set to be star studded with both cricketers and bollywood celebrities coming on to the grounds to cheer and spread love to their team.

Apart from the pop star, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra will also be among the leading celebrities who will be attending the ceremony. We might also see Salman Khan's performance and same with Priyanka. All lead teams are getting ready to be part of it and by March end the IPL will see all its foreign players coming in and playing their best.
