Madhuri Dixit here unveiled her wax statue at Madame Tussauds becoming the seventh Indian celebrity to be showcased at the wax museum. She was extremely thrilled to be part of this and she says "I am thrilled to be here in Madame Tussauds unveiling a wax figure of myself. It's incredible just how detailed the figure is - they have captured my look beautifully!
I feel very humbled to be included alongside other Bollywood stars and some of my personal heroes,". Her fans are also equally thrilled about the news and is already celebrating her posture there. Madhuri Dixit becomes the third heroine after Aishwariya Rai, who found herself waxed in 2004 and Kareena Kapoor who had unveiled her statue in 2011.
There has been an immense effort put forward by the artisans along with the actress, they had worked close to a month together to get the precise look and measurements of the star. She had even shared her exquisite saree which was designed but Manish Malhottra for the looks of the statue. The overall statue costs around USD 150,000.
"We're delighted to welcome Madhuri (and her family) here today and to be including her figures in our A-list line-up. We know Bollywood fans will also be delighted; we have been inundated with requests to make Madhuri's figure and we hope they agree it is a wonderful likeness.

The other prominent figures at the museum include Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
