Salman Khan who has started shooting for Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg 2 has taken a production call. Just three days after Dabangg 2 went on floors, Salman Khan decided to replace the cinematographer.

The actor has asked cinematographer Senthil Kumar to pack his bags and has replaced him with Aseem Kumar.

Arbaaz Khan impressed with Senthil's work in Telugu cinema, had asked him to be a part of the movie. In fact Senthil had flown in much before the film went on floors to be involved in the pre-production as well. Senthil was to make his debut in Bollywood with Dabangg 2 but Salman Khan was not to happy with his work. Salman was not able to work and get along well with Senthil. He had a mind of his own and didn’t cooperate with the actor.

Cinematographer Senthil Kumar is quite famous for his outstanding cinematography in Telegu films like Yamadonga, Arundhati. Aseem Kumar is the cinematographer of the film Ek The Tiger.

According to sources, this step was taken in for the betterment of the film. Also, actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar have been in the industry for years and have the capability to take a production call. In the past, Salman gave his inputs for Bodyguard, which worked in favour of the film. Also, he had helped director Anees Bazmee during Ready and wielded the megaphone for some of the important scenes.

Aseem Kumar will be joining the crew of Dabangg 2 today. He said, “I don’t know why Senthil is not doing the film anymore. I got a call from Arbaaz Khan. He asked me I was available to shoot for the film. I was glad to join the team. I start my work on Dabangg 2 from Tuesday. I have a great rapport with Salman Sir.”
