Ekta Kapoor's Alt Entertainment, which recently produced the most successful movie of 2011, "THE DIRTY PICTURE" has now signed Sunny Leone for the sequel of Ragini MMS.

Ekta confirmed by saying, “Yes we have signed Sunny for the sequel. We wanted to take it to a higher level. It’s a scary date movie meant for youngsters. Sunny represents sensuality at its peak, so for us she’s the perfect choice.”

Ragini MMS is a 2011 Bollywood horror-thriller film produced by Ekta Kapoor and produced by Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms. The film revolves around the video footage of a girl named Ragini. It was released on 13 May 2011. The film is inspired from the 2007 American supernatural horror film Paranormal Activity and is also half based on a real story of a girl from Delhi. This film has been remade in Malay as Klip 3gp in 2011.

Tanug Garg, CEO, Balaji Motion Pictures said, "We have signed Sunny Leone for Ragini MMS 2. She fits the bill with her sensuality. We always had the sequel on mind. We were waiting for the box office results and how the film would be accepted."

He added that, "The second part is going to be much bigger. The male lead would be as exciting as the female one."

"We are still at scripting stage. We are yet to concretise things. The film would go on floors by year-end and release next year."

Ragini MMS was made with a budget of Rs 1.30 crore and it earned Rs 12-13 crore at the box office. Tanug Gard said, "The budget for the second instalment of Ragini MMS would be higher but viable."

A source said that, "The sequel too is inspired by a real-life story. The scale of the sequel is much bigger than the first one and will be much scarier and it will be full of sex and sensuality."

Sunny Leone will commence shooting for RAGINI MMS 2 this year after completing Pooja Bhatt's Jism 2.
