Randeep Hooda to star in Dharma production's next movie

In : |

Actor Randeep Hooda who is shooting back to back for six movies at a stretch has just signed another movie with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

The movie will be directed by Rensil D'Silva. The movie is yet to be titled. A few months back actor Emraan Hashmi was roped in by director Rensil D'Silva and now it is Randeep's turn. Apart for Randeep the movie will star Sanjay Dutt, Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut.

Randeep made his film debut in Monsoon Wedding in the year 2001, where he played an NRI (Non Resident Indian). He got the role in the film primarily because of his Australian accent. However even after a powerful performance in Monsoon Wedding he had to wait for four years to get a second project.

Ram Gopal Varma cast him as lead in the gritty gangster flick D in the year 2005. D was a turning point in his career. The D which supposedly portrayed Dawood Ibrahim's real life gave Hooda a grand entry into tinsel town. In an interview, he said that, "I find D and Risk very romantic films." Randeep is known for his work in the movies Risk, Once Upon a time in Mumbaai and Sahib Biwi aur Gangstar.

The actor will also be seen playing a pivotal role in Jannat 2 and the lead in the movie Jism 2. Apart from these two films, Randeep will be seen making an interesting guest appearance in Homi Adajania's Cocktail, Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine, where he will be seen in the role of a cricketer and Vishram Sawant's next titled Shooter.
