Karan fails! Deepika In!

Despite his best of efforts, Karan Johar has had an epic fail in getting dates of Kareena Kapoor for his new venture. Karan Johar is planning a new movie with Ekta Kapoor and he wanted Kareena Kapoor to work opposite Emraan Hashmi for the role. She was busy with the shoots of 'Heroine' back then but when she finally got off the shooting schedule for 'Heroine' the director and best friend of Kareena tried to convince her about the role. Initially she did have qualms about working with Emraan but she got over it, but the latest news is that she still wont be doing it.

A source close to Dharma and Balaji productions say "It is strange Kareena was not happy with her role. She also told Ekta and Karan that her wedding would be around the same time they wanted to start shooting for the film. It`s a heroine-oriented film and Emraan is not the mainstay of the project. Deepika was so excited about her role that she agreed to it a couple of days before boarding the flight to Turkey, where she is currently shooting for Race 2,"

She has although given her dates to Sanjay Leela Bhansaali who is preparing a saga with her and Ranveer Singh in it. But it seems that the Karan's role failed to convince her equally to work out dates for him.

The rumor has it that the actress later wanted to do the movie but by the time the producers had finalized Deepika Padukone for the role and did not want to change it. She might miss the chance to be the part of Emraan Hashmi league, who is having a good run at the box office and is getting much appreciated for his acting skills rather than his kissing!

And it seems that angels are right up and showering on Deepika as her star is back with bright light!
