Rajesh Khanna is recovering

Vetran actor Rajesh Khanna who was not keeping well for a couple of days and was admitted to Lilavati Hospital is now in a stable condition. The actor had even stopped his food intake. But now he is recovering fast and is likely to be discharged in a couple of days.

Dimple Kapadia said that, "He (Rajesh) is fine...He is much better today. He should get discharged in a day or two."

The actor has not been keeping well since quite some time. He was admitted after his health condition got worse with suspected stomach infection. Rajesh Khanna's both kidneys have been severely affected. According to sources a kidney transplant is ideally not an option considering Rajesh Khanna's age and health condition.

 Earlier in the month of April, Rajesh Khanna was admitted in the hospital following uneasiness and weakness.

After his manager had claimed that he had stopped taking food for three to four days. Rajesh Khanna's son-in-law Akshay Kumar said that they are all rumours and the actor is hearty and healthy. In fact along with his family the actor walked into the balcony of his bungalow and waved at his fans. Akshay Kumar tweeted, "All those spreading rumours, a humble request, get your facts right before reporting. And for those genuinely concerned & inquiring about my father in-law's health, he is doing fine now & on the road to recovery. Thank you for your good wishes."

Rajesh Khanna has been admitted on the 11th floor of Lilavati hospital at Bandra and is being treated under Dr Sameer Parekh, the gastroenterologist.
