Richa Chadda to be seen in Ram Leela ?

According to the latest reports actress Richa Chadda has been approached to play the female lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela Gujarati version of Romeo And Juliet.

It is said that she will be seen playing the second lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela.

As far as the first lead is concerned, the role was supposed to be originally done by Kareena Kapoor but due to certain issues she walked out of the film. Now, both Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are apparently vying for this role.

It is said that when Richa went to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office, the Ram Leela mock-ups still had pictures of Kareena Kapoor on it. And there has been no official statement from Sanjay Leela Bhansali yet. So is there still a chance left for Kareena to star in Ram Leela? Meanwhile, it is being said that Deepika Padukone is quite keen to act in the film and there are also reports that Bhansali himself is quite keen to rope in Priyanka Chopra for the film.

Richa Chadda made her debut with a critically acclaimed performance in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. She is best known for her fiery portrayal of the character of Nagma in Gangs Of Wasseypur. In the movie Gangs Of Wasseypur directed by Anurag Kashyap she starred opposite Manoj Bajpai.
