Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom, the ace boxer who rose to fame after winning the London Olympic bronze, has become a source of inspiration for everyone in the country.

The latest is that Mary is going to walk the ramp for Shabana Azmi's NGO, the 'Mijwan Welfare Society' on Monday, September 3, at the Grand Hyatt.
Along with Mary, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Imran Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Chitrangda Singh, Prateik Babbar, Amy Jackson, Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Chiraag Paswan, Dia Mirza, Imtiaz Ali, Kalki Koechlin, Karan Johar, Kunal Kapoor, Malaika Arora Khan, Neha Dhupia, Rohit Roy, Rohit Shetty, Sameera Reddy, Shahana Goswami, Shahzaan Padamsee and Yuvraj Singh will be walking the ramp.

It was just days back, news of Sanjay Leela Bhansali making a movie based on her real life story were doing the rounds.

"It is an inspiring story that touched my heart. Not many films are based on biopics of living people, so this is a rare experiment. I am proud that I am part of this film," Bhansali, who is producing the film, told the media.

Mary is also well-known for her melodious voice and her love towards singing. It’s also because of this reason she is often asked to sing in many events. Buzz is that she sung the title song of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam for Bhansali which immensely touched him. According to some sources she is even planning to meet India’s Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar!
