The GSR250S is indeed a big bike and measures 2145mm x 790mm x 1125mm. The 248cc engine puts out 24PS of power (at 8500rpm) along with 22Nm of torque. It is a heavy bike though and weighs in at 186kg. The GSR250S is a bike meant for cruising and open roads rather than outright acceleration. Expect a top speed of 150km/h on the speedometer along with a real world economy of 25-28kmpl. Further, being comfortable with ample seat space, two-up touring on this bike will be rather easy.

If Suzuki India does finalise this model, expect it to pay around Rs 1.3-1.5 lac (ex-showroom India). Lets keep our fingers crossed for the 2014 Auto Expo that is due for Feb next year. Till then, enjoy this walkaround video.
