Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine Stopped!!
With the latest news about Aishwariya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy, Madhur Bhandarkar's prestigious project Heroine has now moved to shelves. The recent media update on this confirms that the project is already stalled, this is at a time when there has been a reported 4 crore spent on the movie already!
Madhur had already released the first shots of the movie, but Aishwariya is now unsure whether she would be able to commit the movie further as she has conceived!
Reports do mention that Madhur Bhandarkar is deeply disappointed on having to stall the movie and is unhappy with Aishwariya Rai for not mentioning this earlier. The movie is a female oriented story where the film tries to travel through life struggles and success of actresses like Madhubala, Marlyn Monroe and Mahi Khanna. The announcement for this movie came on the event of 64th Cannes Film Festival.
There are reports that there will be a replacement done for the lead role of 'Heroine' movie, the eyes are already on Priyanka Chopra, who has already excelled her acting skills in Madhur's 'Fashion'. The role was first given to Kareena Kapoor who backed out due to the fact that it did want her to be cozy with four male protagonists.
